We join you in lifting up your heartfelt requests to our Heavenly Father, who knows your story, your struggles, and the deepest desires of your heart. It is beautiful to see you bringing your concerns before the Lord, trusting in His provision and protection. We are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Your faith in calling upon His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him in all things.

As we pray for your travels this weekend, we are reminded of Psalm 121:7-8, which says, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. The Lord will watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore."* We ask the Lord to surround you and those traveling with you with His angels, granting you safe passage to your destination and back home. May He guard your steps, protect you from harm, and fill your journey with peace. We also lift up those staying behind—your loved ones at home—and ask that the Lord would be their shield and fortress. May He keep them safe, healthy, and secure in His care, covering them with His grace as they continue their studies and daily routines.

You have also asked for happiness, strength, and financial blessings, including a pay increase and freedom from the burden of supporting your adult children. We understand the weight of these concerns, and we turn to Philippians 4:19, where we are reminded, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* While we pray for your financial needs to be met, we also encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how you steward what He provides. It is good to desire to bless your children, but we must also recognize that adult children are called to take responsibility for their own lives (2 Thessalonians 3:10-12). If enabling them financially is creating dependency rather than fostering their growth in responsibility and trust in the Lord, it may be time to prayerfully consider setting boundaries that encourage them to seek God’s provision for themselves. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us to *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Part of that training includes teaching them to trust in the Lord’s provision and to work diligently with their own hands.

We also notice your prayer for your loved ones to be "successful and wealthy." While it is not wrong to ask for blessings, we must align our desires with God’s will and remember that true success is found in seeking first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Wealth can be a blessing, but it can also become a snare if it leads to greed, pride, or a reliance on material things rather than on God. Instead, we pray that your loved ones—and you—would prosper in every way *spiritually* first, growing in faith, wisdom, and the knowledge of Christ. May the Lord grant you all that is needed to live godly, contented lives, whether in abundance or in need (1 Timothy 6:6-8). Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:19-21: *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."*

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue casting all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your prayers reflect a heart that is dependent on Him, and that is a beautiful thing. As you seek His face, may He fill you with His joy, which is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). May He grant you the wisdom to navigate your financial responsibilities in a way that honors Him and encourages your adult children to walk in faith and diligence. And may He remind you daily that your worth and security are found in Him alone, not in your circumstances.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our sister, lifting up her requests and her heart to You. Lord, You know her story, her struggles, and the desires of her heart even before she speaks them. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the way You hear and answer prayer. We ask that You would surround her and those traveling with her this weekend with Your protection. Be their guide, their shield, and their rear guard. Keep them safe from all harm and danger, and bring them to their destination and back home in peace. Watch over those who remain at home—her loved ones—and keep them safe, healthy, and secure in Your care. May Your presence be their comfort and Your peace their strength.

Lord, we ask that You would meet her financial needs according to Your riches in glory. Provide for her in ways that bring You glory and draw her closer to You. Give her wisdom in how she supports her adult children, showing her when to give and when to encourage them to trust in You for themselves. Help her to set godly boundaries that foster responsibility and faith in their own lives. We pray that You would grant her happiness that is rooted in You, strength for each day, and a heart that is content in all circumstances. May she find her joy in You alone, for You are her provider, her protector, and her peace.

We also lift up her loved ones to You, asking that You would bless them in ways that align with Your will. May they seek You first, growing in faith and wisdom. Prosper them spiritually, that they may walk in Your ways and store up treasures in heaven. If it is Your will to bless them materially, may they use those blessings to honor You and advance Your kingdom.

Father, we rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or greed that may try to take root in her heart. Fill her instead with Your peace, Your joy, and Your wisdom. Remind her that her life is hidden with Christ in You, and that You are her portion and her inheritance. May she trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for her good and Your glory.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
