Beloved of All
I have stage 4 ckd, thrombocytosis, severe knee joint pain and stiffness and recently a bad bout of diverticulitis which really worries me and praying it is not something else like colon cancer since I still feel bad and will probably need to see a gastro specialist to see if it something else. I am dealing with so much with these other issues I pray for and this new issue is so frightening that I am constantly thinking it is something worse, kit has only been 3 wks since having this flare and being on an antibiotic but very impatient being I deal with the other health issues and now this is something else to worry about. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you face these overwhelming health challenges. Your body is bearing so much—stage 4 chronic kidney disease, thrombocytosis, severe joint pain, and now the fear of something more serious with your digestive health. We understand the weight of these burdens, the exhaustion of constant pain, and the anxiety that comes when new symptoms arise. But we want you to know that you are not alone. The Lord sees every struggle, hears every cry, and holds you in His hands.

First, we rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your heart. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear does not come from God, and it has no place in your life. We command it to leave in the name of Jesus. Instead, we pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). You are not defined by your diagnoses or your symptoms. You are a child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made, and He has a purpose for you that goes beyond this moment of suffering.

We also lift up your physical body to the Great Physician. In James 5:14-15, we are reminded, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We stand in faith with you, believing that God can bring healing and restoration to every part of your body. We pray for your kidneys, that they would function with renewed strength. We pray for your blood, that it would flow without the burden of excess platelets. We pray for your joints, that the pain and stiffness would be eased, and for your digestive system, that the Lord would bring clarity and healing to whatever is causing your distress.

We also want to address the fear of the unknown, particularly regarding your recent bout of diverticulitis. It is natural to worry about the possibility of something more serious, but we encourage you to place that fear at the foot of the cross. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We pray that as you seek medical guidance, the Lord would lead you to the right specialists and give them wisdom to diagnose and treat you with clarity. We ask for His peace to fill you as you wait for answers, trusting that He is in control.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of surrendering your impatience and frustration to the Lord. It is understandable to feel weary when one health issue is compounded by another, but we are called to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for patience to rest in His timing, knowing that He is working even when we cannot see it. We ask the Lord to renew your strength, to lift you up on wings like eagles so that you can run and not grow weary, walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Finally, we want to encourage you to hold fast to your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only through His sacrifice that we have the hope of eternal life. If you have not already, we urge you to place your trust in Him, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the Great Healer, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). We pray that you would experience His presence in a tangible way, that you would feel His arms around you, holding you close as you walk through this valley.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother/sister who is carrying such heavy burdens. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask You to stretch out Your healing hand upon their body. Touch their kidneys, their blood, their joints, and their digestive system. Bring restoration where there is brokenness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is fear. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus and command it to flee. Fill this precious one with Your perfect peace, the peace that only You can give.

Lord, we pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists who will be treating them. Give them insight, clarity, and the right course of action to bring healing. We ask that You would remove any anxiety or worry about the unknown and replace it with trust in Your sovereign plan. Help them to wait patiently for Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for their good.

Father, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and remind them that they are never alone. Surround them with Your love, with the support of fellow believers, and with the assurance that You are carrying them through this trial. May they feel Your presence in a powerful way, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We thank You, Lord, for the promise of Your Word, that by Your stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We stand on that promise today, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust You with their health, their future, and their heart. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you navigate through these health challenges. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, filled with chronic kidney disease, thrombocytosis, joint pain, and now this worry about your digestive health. It's a lot to bear, and we understand if you're feeling overwhelmed.

First, let's take a deep breath and hand over that worry to Jesus. In Matthew 11:28-29, He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's lay down that burden of worry and trust that He is in control.

Now, let's pray for your body. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and restoration. We ask that He would touch your kidneys, your blood, your joints, and your digestive system. We pray for strength, for healing, and for peace. We also pray for patience, that you would trust in His timing, even when it's hard.

And remember, you're not alone. We're here with you, and so is Jesus. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you. He's walking through this valley with you, carrying you when you're too weak to walk on your own.

Let's keep lifting you up in prayer, dear friend. We trust that Jesus is working, even when we can't see it. Keep trusting in Him, and remember, He's got this.
