We understand your deep concern as you face this upcoming MRI on your pancreas. Fear of the unknown, especially when it comes to our health, can be overwhelming. We want to assure you that it is natural to feel anxious, but we also want to remind you that our Heavenly Father is in control of all things, including your health.

First, let us turn to Scripture for comfort and strength. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We are encouraged to bring our worries to God, trusting that He will provide peace that transcends human understanding.

We also find solace in 1 Peter 5:7, which says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God cares deeply for you and knows the concerns of your heart. He invites you to cast your anxieties on Him, for He is your refuge and strength.

Now, let us come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing this MRI with fear and uncertainty. Lord, we ask that You would grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Calm their anxious heart and fill them with the assurance of Your presence and love. We pray, Father, that the results of this MRI would reveal nothing harmful, and if there is any ailment, we ask for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to rest in Your promises. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word and surround yourself with a community of believers who can uplift you in prayer and support. Remember that God is with you every step of the way, and His love for you is unwavering.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your trust fully in Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the foundation of true peace and hope, no matter what circumstances we face.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer as you await the results of your MRI. May God’s grace and mercy be upon you, and may you feel His comforting presence in this time of uncertainty.

Thank you for sharing this with us, the weight of waiting for an MRI on your pancreas must feel immense, and the fear that it could be cancer is so real. We’re holding this with you right now.

It's no small thing to sit in that kind of uncertainty. Your mind can race to worst-case scenarios, and the days before or after a scan can feel like you're living in a fog. We just want you to know you’re not alone in it. God’s presence doesn’t evaporate in the scanner room or in the quiet moments when fear surges. He is right there with you, even when your thoughts spiral.

While you wait, it can help to anchor yourself to something simple: maybe let someone trusted know what you’re going through, and allow them to shoulder some of the burden with you, or even sit with you if that would bring comfort. And when the anxiety spikes, you might just whisper, “Jesus, I need your peace right now.” No need for elaborate words; He hears the simplest cry.

Let’s pray together:

Lord Jesus, we lift this dear one to You right now. In the hum of the MRI and in the long pause before results, be their steady anchor. Grant the radiologists and doctors sharp eyes and wisdom, and if it is Your will, let the findings be completely clear of any cancer. But beyond the images, hold their heart steady in Your love, a love that doesn’t waver no matter what. Quiet the fear, and fill that waiting space with Your supernatural peace. We trust their body and their future to You, the Great Physician. In Your name we pray, amen.

We are praying with you, please let us know how things go.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart reaches the throne of grace, for you dread what the scanning light may uncover. That fear, though natural, must not be suffered to reign. The true wisdom in such an hour is to trust God. To handle this matter wisely is not to surrender to anxious forebodings, but to commit it entirely into His hands. You cannot add a single hour to your life by worrying; you cannot alter the Lord's decree by a night of weeping. Yet in trusting Him, you find a peace that baffles understanding.

Why should a child of God be dismayed? The promise stands: “Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God.” This is not a word for the angels, but for worms like Jacob, weak, trembling, and unworthy. If we were strong, we might stand in our own might; but since we are nothing, we have all the more reason to lean on the Everlasting Arm. Fear dishonors the Father who has given His Son for you. Will you trust Him for your soul’s eternal destiny and then doubt His care for your perishing body? Such small faith grieves the Spirit.

Make the shadow of His wings your refuge until these calamities pass. Cry to God Most High, who performs all things for you. If the report brings good tidings, you will praise Him with a thankful heart. If it brings a heavy trial, even then you must not let go your confidence. Remember Job, who, when stripped of all, could say, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him.” That is faith’s triumph, and yours may be the opportunity to glorify God in the furnace.

But mark this: we are not to be idle. Trusting God does not mean despising the means He has given. Go through that examination with prudence, and then leave the result to Him. When you are brought to a pass where you know not what to do, stand still and see the salvation of God. The beloved physician Luke is no enemy to faith; so walk with God every day, and serve Him with all your might, living each day as if it were your last. Such a walk keeps the fear of death far away.

Above all, fix your eyes on Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God. He who bore our sins in His own body on the tree will not forsake you now. If you find it hard to trust the great invisible God, look to that dying, bleeding Man who is also God over all. His heart is warm with love; His hands are full of mercy. Only trust Him now. He has promised to save all who come to Him, to be with them in trouble, to strengthen, help, and uphold. Your prayer is that the affliction be not cancer; but even if it should be, your deeper prayer must be that Christ be magnified in your body, whether by life or by death. So may it be, and fear must flee.

You pour out your fear as though the outcome rested on the image and not on the God who formed the organ. I hear the word "cancer" and I see the thorn that already chokes the word before it has even spoken. What is this dread but the frenzy of a soul that has forgotten how to stand under the arms of light? Christ meets you in this garden of your agony, just as He met the women running from the tomb, and His first word is still, "Be not afraid." He does not merely say it; He casts out the fear to make way for faith. You ask for a prayer that the mass is not malignant, and we will groan that prayer together with the whole Church, for the prayers of the saints avail much when the one who asks is also on the alert. But do not place your safety in the removal of a temporal threat alone.

I fear more for the soul that trembles so violently before the report of a physician than before the unrepented sin. The earth drinks in the rain of teaching constantly, yet when the sun of trial rises, how quickly it withers and proves unfruitful. You are acting as if His burden has suddenly become too heavy and His yoke too galling, when He Himself has told you they are light and easy. Learn of the meek and lowly heart, and you will find rest for this shaking soul. The day is upon us, calling you not to a war of grim toil, but to a solemn dance and a feast. Put on the armor of light, and you will go forth from this trial as a bridegroom from his chamber, not as a prisoner awaiting a sentence.

Stand, then, by waking up. The help of others’ prayers profits nothing if you yourself sleep. Imitate the barbarians who left their country to worship Him with fear and great trembling; let your fear drive you to worship, not to despair. If you think you have no need of prayer, that is precisely why you need it. We are not told that every burden will be removed, but that a chosen vessel is often shown how great things he must suffer for His Name’s sake. Whether this cup passes or remains, the gates of brass have been broken, and the prison of death itself has been burst. Do not let the deceitfulness of this present care make you unfruitful. Turn the energy of your terror into the energy of clinging to His feet, where the infallible proof of resurrection is found.

That waiting room of the mind between a test and its result is one of the hardest places to sit. The unknown looms large, and fear comes so naturally it almost feels like a companion. But something happens when we let that fear set the direction of our thoughts. It begins to whisper that it knows the outcome, and it paints the darkest picture it can find.

Scripture describes a different kind of fear, one that is the starting point and the sum of all true knowledge. This fear is not a cowering dread but a reverent awe of God. It is to hate what He hates and to trust Him so completely that your own understanding takes a back seat. When you fix your gaze on the power and goodness of the Lord, the fear that screams about your situation begins to lose its voice. It cannot coexist with faith. Peter walked on water as long as his eyes were on Jesus. The moment he looked at the wind and the waves, faith fled and down he went. The waves of a medical report are very real, but the hand that holds you is steadier than any storm.

You have not been given a spirit that leads you back into the bondage of fear. That kind of fear is a harsh master, and it motivates reactions that are rarely wise. The enemy would love nothing more than to use this waiting to make you forget the Lord, because remembering Him is the sure cure for fear. David walked through the valley of the shadow of death and declared he would fear no evil, not because the valley was an illusion, but because the Shepherd was with him.

While you wait, and while you hope for a good report, your soul can still prosper. There is a real connection between spiritual well-being and physical health. That does not turn a greeting in a letter into a blanket promise of healing, but it does remind us that attitudes can affect the body. Let your waiting become an act of expectant trust. Be like a servant watching for the master, ready to open the door the moment he knocks. That kind of patient hope comforts the heart and settles the mind. Place your situation in His hands, ask Him for mercy and for health, and then let your soul rest in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom.
