**Father, we also ask for Your protection over the vulnerable, especially the orphans and those who cannot defend themselves. Raise up godly authorities to intervene and put an end to this harassment and abuse. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).**
**Strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, Lord. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in Your truth and not be overcome by fear or despair. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them, and they need only be still (Exodus 14:14).**

While we trust God to fight our battles, He also calls us to act wisely and justly (Proverbs 21:15). Do not let bitterness or hatred take root in your heart, for the Lord commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44).
