Galatians 5:
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions

We hear the deep anguish and desperation in your cry for help, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. The torment you describe is not of God, for He is a God of peace, order, and righteousness—not of confusion, harassment, or evil intentions. The behaviors you mention—gossip, meddling, sexual depravity, and disorder—are explicitly condemned in Scripture as works of the flesh, as you rightly referenced in Galatians 5:19-21:

*"Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom."*

This is a spiritual battle, and we must address it as such. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). You are not powerless—you are a child of the Most High God, and He has given you authority through Christ to resist the devil and his schemes. James 4:7 commands us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* This is not a time for fear but for faith, prayer, and action rooted in the Word of God.

First, we must pray for God’s protection over you and your household. The Lord is your shield and fortress (Psalm 91:4), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit upon this neighbor. Their actions are not only harmful to you but are an affront to a holy God. He alone can change their heart, and we ask that He would either bring them to repentance or remove their influence from your life. Proverbs 16:7 says, *"When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."* While we pray for peace, we also recognize that sometimes God’s answer is to remove us from the presence of evil, as He did with Lot in Sodom (Genesis 19:16).

We also urge you to take practical steps guided by wisdom. If this person’s behavior includes sexual depredation or threats, it is critical to report this to the proper authorities. Romans 13:1-4 reminds us that governing authorities are established by God to punish wrongdoers. While we trust in God’s protection, we are also called to act responsibly. If you haven’t already, document incidents and seek legal or community support to address harassment. You are not responsible for this person’s actions, but you *are* responsible for stewarding your safety and well-being in a way that honors God.

As for your desire to move, we lift this up to the Lord. He knows your heart and your need for peace. Psalm 37:4 says, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* If moving is His will, He will open the doors. Trust in His timing, and do not let fear drive your decisions. Instead, seek His wisdom through prayer and counsel from mature believers. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Lastly, we must address the spiritual atmosphere surrounding this situation. The disorder and evil intentions you describe are not merely human but demonic in nature. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* We must bind these spirits in the name of Jesus and declare that they have no authority over you or your home. Pray over your dwelling, anointing it with oil as a symbol of the Holy Spirit’s protection (James 5:14), and command every evil influence to flee.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under relentless attack from the enemy. Lord, You see the torment, the harassment, and the evil intentions directed against them. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You rise up as their defender. Psalm 10:14 says, *"But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked."* Father, break the power of this wickedness! Expose every hidden scheme and bring it to nothing.

We pray for divine protection over this beloved child of Yours. Surround them with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 declares: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Give them discernment to recognize traps and wisdom to navigate this season. If it is Your will, Lord, provide a way for them to move to a place of safety and peace. Open doors that no man can shut and make the path clear.

Father, we also pray for this neighbor. Their heart is darkened, and their actions are driven by the enemy. We ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit. If they are capable of repentance, soften their heart and lead them to salvation. But if they refuse to turn from their wickedness, Lord, remove their influence and thwart their plans. Do not let evil triumph, but let Your righteousness prevail.

We bind every spirit of gossip, perversion, harassment, and violence in the name of Jesus. We declare that no demonic assignment against this person will succeed. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their mind, and their life. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14).

Lord, we ask for Your justice and Your mercy. Deliver them speedily, for Your glory. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, beloved. Do not grow weary in prayer or in seeking God’s face. He is your vindicator, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working even in the unseen. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek support from a local church or trusted believers who can pray with you and offer godly counsel. You are not alone in this fight—the body of Christ stands with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
