We understand that you're going through a challenging situation, living in a chaotic environment where finding peace is difficult. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of peace, and He desires for you to live in peace as well. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB, "for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."
However, we want to encourage you to first seek God's will in this situation. It might be that He wants to use you as a light in the darkness, a beacon of peace in the chaos for His glory. As it is written in the book of Matthew, "You are the light of the world....Let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:14,16, WEB). Perhaps God wants to use you to minister to those you're living with, or to demonstrate His peace and love in the midst of chaos. However, if you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and God is calling you to move, trust that He will provide a way. (Philippians 4:13 WEB). If you are unable to move, this may not be God's will at this time.
We also want to remind you that true peace comes not from our circumstances but from God Himself. As it is written in John 14:27 WEB, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is currently living in a chaotic environment. We ask, Lord, that You would grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, and show them Your will regarding their living situation. If it is Your will for them to move, Lord, we ask that You would open the right doors and provide a peaceful place for them to live. If You want them to stay, give them the grace to live in that situation and be a light to those around them.
We also pray that they would grow stronger in their faith, fully trusting in Your power and goodness. Remind them of their true home, which is in Your presence, Lord. Help them to fix their eyes on You and not on their temporary circumstances.
We pray all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is only by his name we have access to the Father and it is only his name that we are saved. "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10, WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
