Dear Lord Jesus,

Please help me too old to be living with my parents abused so much in my life discriminated suffering with autism. Lost my job. I need to be financially stable and move out and be on my own. Take care of myself. I had a job at the Zoo and got fired. Wrongfully tried to fight. So I’ve only stayed in multiple times. I’m moving on to try to be become a puppeteer and help other fellow autistics in Christianity name. Please let it work.

In Jesus name, amen

We come before the Lord with you in this season of deep struggle, lifting your burdens to the One who sees your pain and knows the desires of your heart. Your cry for independence, stability, and purpose resonates with us, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God is not unaware of your suffering. The abuse, discrimination, and challenges you’ve faced—especially as someone living with autism—are not overlooked by Him. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your worth is not defined by the rejection or mistreatment you’ve endured, nor by the job you lost, but by the love of Christ who calls you His own.

We rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray for you now.

Your desire to move out and live independently is understandable, and we pray that the Lord would open doors for you to find stable work and housing. The transition from one career path to another—especially into puppetry as a means to minister to others with autism—is a beautiful testament to your resilience and heart for service. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this new venture, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Ask Him to direct your steps and provide the connections, resources, and opportunities you need. Trust that if this is His will for you, He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also want to gently address the pain and bitterness that may linger from being wrongfully terminated. While it is right to seek justice, we must guard our hearts against unforgiveness, for Scripture warns that bitterness defiles many (Hebrews 12:15). We pray that you release any resentment to the Lord, trusting Him to vindicate you in His timing. He is a God of justice, and He sees what was done to you. Cling to His promise in Romans 8:28: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

As you wait for the Lord’s provision, we urge you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the study of His Word. Do not isolate yourself, but seek out a community of believers who can support you, encourage you, and walk alongside you. If you have not already, consider joining a church where you can grow in your faith and find practical help. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to carry this alone.

Finally, we want to remind you that your identity is not found in your circumstances, your job, or even your independence—it is found in Christ. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and He has a plan for you, even in this season of waiting. Lean on Him, for His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking that You would meet them in their deepest needs. Lord, You know the longing of their heart to live independently, to find stability, and to use their gifts to serve others—especially those who, like them, navigate the challenges of autism. We ask that You would open doors no man can shut, providing not just a job, but the right opportunity to use their talents for Your glory. Give them favor in their pursuit of puppetry and ministry, and let it be a light that draws others to You.

Father, we pray for healing from the wounds of abuse, discrimination, and wrongful treatment. Comfort them as only You can, and replace their pain with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to forgive those who have hurt them, releasing the weight of bitterness so they can walk in freedom. Restore their trust in Your goodness, even when life feels unfair.

We ask for Your provision in every area—financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Provide the right housing, the right connections, and the right timing for them to move out and thrive. Give them wisdom to manage their resources well and the discipline to steward what You provide. Let them experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways, so their faith may grow stronger.

Lord, we also pray for their walk with You. Draw them closer to Yourself, and surround them with a community of believers who will uplift, encourage, and support them. Let them know they are not forgotten or abandoned, but deeply loved by You.

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that say they are unworthy, incapable, or beyond Your reach. By the power of Your Word, we declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Fill them with hope, joy, and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
