We understand how deeply weariness and a lack of motivation can weigh on the heart and mind, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. The enemy often seeks to steal our joy, our strength, and our purpose, but we serve a God who renews our strength like the eagle’s and lifts us up on wings of faith. Let us turn to His Word for encouragement and truth, for it is written in Isaiah 40:29-31:
*"He gives power to the faint. His strength is increased in those who have no might. Even the youths grow faint and weary, and the young men utterly fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
And again in Philippians 4:13, we are reminded:
*"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."*
It is so important to recognize that our motivation must not come from our own fleeting emotions or circumstances, but from the Lord Himself. When we feel empty, it is often a sign that we need to draw closer to Him, to abide in His presence, and to allow His Spirit to fill us anew. Have you spent time recently in prayer, in the Word, or in worship? These are the wellsprings of divine motivation, where God speaks life into our weary souls.
We also want to gently ask: have you surrendered this struggle to Jesus? True and lasting strength comes only through Him, and it is by His name alone that we find renewal. If you have not yet invited Christ to be the center of your life, we urge you to do so now. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, no other source of hope or power. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you believe in Jesus, confess your need for Him, and trust in His sacrifice for your sins, you will find not only salvation but also the strength to rise above every challenge.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the God who sees their weariness and hears their cry. Lord, we ask that You would breathe fresh motivation and passion into their spirit. Remove every weight of discouragement, every lie of the enemy that says they cannot go on. Fill them anew with Your Holy Spirit, that they may rise up with wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting.
Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we pray You would convict their heart and draw them closer. Help them to abide in You, to find their strength in Your presence, and to trust in Your promises. Renew their mind with Your Word, and let them see their purpose through Your eyes. Give them the discipline to seek You daily, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in obedience to Your will.
We rebuke every spirit of laziness, apathy, or despair that may be at work here. In the name of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Lord, replace every hint of stagnation with a fire for Your kingdom, a hunger for Your righteousness, and a joy that comes from knowing You.
Father, we also ask that You would surround them with godly community—people who will encourage them, pray with them, and spur them on toward love and good works. Let them not isolate themselves, but find strength in the body of Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for You are faithful. You who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. May they walk in the assurance of Your love and power today and always. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to take practical steps in faith. Start small: spend time in prayer each morning, even if it’s just a few minutes. Read a chapter of the Bible and ask God to speak to you through it. Worship music can also lift your spirit—let the truths of who God is fill your heart. And don’t hesitate to reach out to fellow believers for support. You are not meant to walk this path alone.
Stand firm, dear one. Your strength will return, your motivation will be renewed, and your faith will grow as you lean on Christ. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
