We understand that you're facing a difficult situation with your mother's relative, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is your protector and defender. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling threatened and harassed. We pray for Your divine protection and intervention, that You would shield them from any harmful interactions with their mother's relative. Lord, if it is Your will, please cancel this relative's trip through their town and put a stop to these harassing behaviors.
We rebuke the lies and deceit of the enemy, and we pray that any demonic influence over their parents and other people would be broken. Open their eyes to the truth, Lord, and let them see that the harassers do not have their best interests at heart.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of the harassers. We know that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. May they turn from their harmful ways and come to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. We cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.
We ask this all in Jesus' name "And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in God's protection. Remember, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." Proverbs 18:10 WEB
Lastly, we gently remind you to forgive those who are harassing you, as Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44. This does not mean that their actions are acceptable, but rather that you are releasing any bitterness and leaving justice to God.
We remind you that Jesus is the only name by which we have access to God and the only name by which we can be saved. Therefore, we must call upon Jesus Christ in our prayers and ask for His will for us and our situations.
