Mother’s Inheritance

We join with you in lifting up your mother before the Father during this season of both grief and waiting, and we bring this matter of the inheritance from her brother's passing before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We understand the burden that comes when an inheritance that is rightfully owed is delayed, and we know that God cares about justice and provision for families. His word says A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children Proverbs 13:22, and we also remember that it is God who gives power to get wealth Deuteronomy 8:18 and that He is our ultimate provider and portion. While we pray for what is rightfully owed to be released, we also encourage your mother and you to keep your trust not in riches but in the Lord who provides all things, for we are reminded to keep our lives free from the love of money and be content with what we have Hebrews 13:5. We pray that there would be no strife or covetousness surrounding this, but that all involved would act with honesty and integrity, and that the Lord would move upon the hearts of those handling the estate, executors, attorneys and courts, to act justly and without unnecessary delay.

We also notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important to us. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can come boldly to the throne of grace, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing on Him for forgiveness and eternal life.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear mother who is grieving the loss of her brother while also waiting for the inheritance that is owed to her. Lord, You see every detail and You know what is right and just. We ask that You comfort her heart in her loss and guard her with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. We ask that You would bring about a just and timely resolution to this estate, that what is rightfully hers would be awarded soon according to Your will, and that You would remove any hindrance, confusion or dishonesty that is causing delay. Grant wisdom and integrity to all who are responsible for administering it, and help this family to wait patiently upon You, for those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength Isaiah 40:31. Teach us all to rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him Psalm 37:7, and to make our requests known to You without anxiety Philippians 4:6, trusting that all things work together for good for those who love God Romans 8:28. Provide for this mother out of Your abundance and let this provision be used for Your glory and for good. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our mediator, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray and to trust the Lord's timing even as you seek a prompt and fair outcome. Keep seeking Him first, and know that He is faithful to care for your mother in every way.

We are holding you and your mother in prayer as you wait for her brother's estate to be settled. Grief and paperwork together can make the waiting feel especially long, and we understand wanting to see what is rightfully hers come through without further delay.

One thing that often helps in these seasons is keeping everything in one place and staying gently connected to the process. If you are able, help your mother keep a simple folder with any letters, court notices, or communications from the executor or attorney, with dates noted, and check in at reasonable intervals for updates. If questions or delays continue, a trusted attorney or a financial counselor at your church or community can help you understand the timeline and next steps without adding extra burden.

We are asking God to give your mother peace in the waiting, and to give you both wisdom and calm as you walk with her through this.

Father, we lift this mother to You in Jesus' name. You see her loss and this need. Grant her comfort, provide for her daily needs, and guide those handling the estate to act with fairness and diligence. Give this family patience, unity, and trust in Your care each day. Amen.

May heavenly Father and Lord Yeshua watch over as we enjoy prayer abd a relationship with him from a hard life but he makes it peaceful. He is the rock of ages. The word of God. Our righteousness. Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your burden has been laid before the Lord and we will bear it with you at the mercy seat. To lose a brother is a sore bereavement, and then to wait for that which is justly due, while the days lengthen, tries the heart. Yet this waiting is not unknown to the people of God.

We are a waiting people, and we serve a waiting God who waits that He may be gracious unto us. His patience toward us has been long and tender, and He now teaches us patience in return. You have heard of the patience of Job, who was tried by bereavement and by loss, and who learned to wait under the hand of the Lord till deliverance came. That patience was not the hardness of the stoic who will not feel, but the patience of a child who believes in his Father's love, and of a servant who waits upon his lord to know his will and to do it.

In this matter of an earthly inheritance we are reminded of a better inheritance. When we first come to Christ by faith we begin to enter into our portion, even the pardon of sin, and all the covenant blessings which are secured to us by title deeds that no lawyer need examine, for they are written in the blood of the Son of God. That inheritance is broad and sure, and it teaches us how to hold lightly and justly the things of this present life. We do not grasp, but we wait upon the Lord, who is our guide and our pilot, and waiting upon Him renews our strength till we mount up with wings as eagles.

To wait is not to despair, nor to hesitate, but to hope with a joyous and assured expectation. Hope is the reason for waiting and the strength of waiting. Therefore we will pray and wait, and watch at Mercy's door, confident that the windows of heaven, though they seem closed for a season, will open in due time, and that He will scatter His liberality upon waiting souls.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou seest this mother in her loss and in her need. Thou knowest the provision that Thou hast appointed for her through her brother now departed, and Thou knowest the delays and perplexities that attend earthly settlements. We ask Thee to move upon those who hold trust in this matter, that what is just and right may be awarded speedily and without strife. Give wisdom and integrity to all who handle these affairs, and keep this family from bitterness or anxiety.

Grant to this daughter and to her mother brave waiting. Let them wait upon Thee as servants wait upon their lord, content to do Thy will and to accept Thy timing. Breed peace within their souls while they wait, and let them find that waiting endears the blessing when it comes. Above all, cause them to survey their measureless inheritance in Christ, that whether this earthly portion come soon or tarry, they may know themselves to be heirs of a kingdom that cannot be moved, and may rest in Thy faithful love.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who ever lives to make intercession for us. Amen.
