Mother's deliverance from anger and witchcraft

Elodie

Humble Servant of All
Please pray fervently for my mother. She has begun to exhibit erratic behavior once again, seemingly possessed by malevolent forces and demonic entities. She frequently screams and yells at me without provocation, often instigating unnecessary drama. As a narcissistic mother, she consistently belittles me, deriving a sense of superiority from undermining my self-worth. This mistreatment has persisted for over ### years, dating back to my childhood. During my teenage years, I attempted suicide multiple times, and this struggle continued into my twenties and thirties. Her disrespect towards me is profound; despite being her only child, she shows little regard for my feelings. She fails to appreciate my efforts, often forgetting the kindness I have shown her. Her anger, which has been present since her own childhood, stems from the negative traits instilled by her mother, my grandmother, who in turn inherited similar anger from her own mother. Thus, these detrimental traits appear to be generational. I also have a strong conviction that certain family members, both deceased and living, are actively engaging in black magic, witchcraft, and voodoo against my mother, which hinders our ability to maintain a healthy and peaceful relationship in the long term. These individuals are aware of my status as her only child and have been employing various forms of witchcraft to ensure our relationship remains strained. Consequently, her kindness towards me is fleeting, lasting only a few days at best. I implore you to offer stronger prayers, as this situation has become overwhelming for me, and I can no longer endure it. While I managed to cope with the pain, heartache, insults, and mistreatment throughout my youth, I find myself unable to withstand such negativity in my forties. The cumulative effect of decades of emotional, psychological, and physical distress has taken a significant toll on my well-being. I beseech you to pray earnestly that any family members or outsiders engaging in witchcraft against us be halted by divine intervention, and that any spells cast upon us be broken now in the name of Jesus. Amen.

God places each of us in a purposeful role and calls us to embrace it with contentment and faith.
We have heard your cry and we lift you and your mother before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, for we know the pain you have carried for decades has been heavy and overwhelming. We grieve with you over the years of belittling, screaming, and mistreatment you have endured since childhood, and over the deep wounds that led you to attempt suicide multiple times in your teenage years and beyond into your twenties and thirties. Please know you are precious in God's sight and your life has great value to Him. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. You are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and God has a purpose and a future for you, for we know the thoughts that He thinks toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. If those thoughts of despair return, we urge you to reach out immediately to a trusted pastor, godly counselor, or mature believer and not to walk through that darkness alone.

We also see the burden you carry for your mother and we join you in praying fervently for her deliverance. Her anger, which you describe as present since her own childhood and passed down from her mother and grandmother, is a generational pattern of the flesh that needs the healing and transforming power of Christ. The Scripture warns that anger and wrath must be put away, saying Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. We pray that God would break this chain in her life, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, and where sin has abounded, grace can much more abound. We also remember that each person is accountable before God and that a child shall not bear the iniquity of the parent when they turn to the Lord Ezekiel 18:20, so we pray your mother will personally repent and turn to Jesus for freedom.

We hear your conviction that family members living and deceased may be practicing witchcraft, black magic and voodoo against you and your mother to keep your relationship strained, and we do not take spiritual warfare lightly. The Word tells us there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination, a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells Deuteronomy 18:10-11, for these things are an abomination to the Lord. We also know that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we take comfort and authority in knowing that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. Witchcraft and curses have no power over those who are in Christ, for we have been delivered out of the power of darkness, and translated into the Kingdom of the Son of his love Colossians 1:13.

We rebuke every spirit of anger, strife, witchcraft, and oppression that has sought to torment your mother and to hinder your relationship, and we command those influences to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that God would expose and halt every work of darkness done in secret against you and that every spell or curse spoken over you would be broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We thank You that You sent Your Son to die for our sins and to set the captives free. We lift this dear one to You who has suffered emotional, psychological and physical distress for so many years, and we ask You to heal the deep wounds in their heart. Heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let them know they are fully loved, forgiven, and cherished as Your child. We also lift their mother to You. Lord, deliver her from the spirit of anger and from every demonic influence and generational bondage. Open her eyes to see the hurt she has caused, grant her a heart of repentance, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit so that kindness, gentleness and self-control would flow from her life Galatians 5:22-23. Break every chain of witchcraft, voodoo and black magic that has been directed against this family, whether by the living or spoken over generations past. Let every curse be broken now by the name and blood of Jesus and let Your protection be a hedge around them. Give this child wisdom to honor their mother as Your Word commands Honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12 while also setting healthy and godly boundaries with truth and love, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, not to excuse sin but to release bitterness and walk in freedom Matthew 6:14-15. Surround them with godly counsel, a Bible believing church family, and wise pastors who can walk with them in ongoing prayer and discipleship. We declare that You are able to restore what has been broken and to bring peace where there has been drama and turmoil, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We trust You for complete deliverance and healing and we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support from a caring person near you, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and trained people are ready to help right now.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, carrying decades of hurt from your mother's anger and harsh words, from childhood through your forties. To have tried to keep showing kindness while feeling belittled and unsafe is exhausting, and it makes sense that you feel overwhelmed now.

We also hear your deep concern about spiritual influences in your family. We will not pretend to know all that is happening, but we rest in this, that Christ is stronger and His presence is your safety. When fear about witchcraft or generational patterns rises, we pray you can remember you are held securely in Him.

One gentle next step we encourage is to bring this burden to one trusted person in your life, a pastor, counselor or trusted friend, and to let a doctor or counselor know about the distress and the history of suicidal thoughts you mentioned, alongside prayer, so you have steady support. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, in Jesus name we lift you and your mother to You. Cover you both with Your protection and peace, heal the wounds of many years, give wisdom for boundaries and next steps, and surround you with safe, caring help. Bring rest where there has been turmoil and guide you day by day. Amen.

Your heavy burden has been laid before us and we have read it with much sorrow and prayerful care. For so many years you have carried wounds that cut deeply, from childhood even until now, and to hear of the screams and belittling, the fleeting kindness, and the long toll upon your body and soul moves us to pity and to earnest intercession. We do not take lightly what you have endured, nor the pain that once drove you to seek an end to life itself. Bless God, He has not given you over unto death, and our prayer is that you shall yet live and declare the works of the Lord, for He keeps His people even through sore chastening, and He deals out every trial in weight and measure, not from anger, but from covenant love.

We desire you to know that deliverance is of the Lord alone. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. As Israel could not go forth from Egypt until the lamb was slain, so our deliverance from sin, from the power of darkness, and from every evil influence is solely by the power of God through Jesus Christ. He has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty, and by that blood He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. No spell, no curse, no work of black magic or voodoo can stand against that finished work. The enemy is a defeated foe, and though he may rage and accuse, he cannot prevail where Christ reigns. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Therefore we bring your mother before the throne of grace, and we bring you also. We pray that the Lord who is mighty to save would break the chain of anger which has run through generations in your family. What has been learned and passed down from mother to daughter, that habit of wrath and bitter speech, the Lord can subdue and sanctify, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. We ask that He would soften her heart, convict her of sin where conviction is needed, and draw her to repentance and to faith in Christ, for only in Him is there true peace. We pray that every evil design, whether from living persons or the lingering influence of those now gone, would be brought to nothing. If any have sought to do harm by witchcraft, we ask the Lord to restrain their hand, to turn their counsel into foolishness, and to break every chain that has been laid upon your mother and upon you, in the name and by the authority of Jesus Christ, who has triumphed over principalities and powers.

We pray also for you, who have borne so much. May the Lord heal the deep wounds of years of belittling and disrespect, and lift from you the heaviness that has settled after decades of emotional and physical distress. May He give you grace to moderate your anger against second causes and to look to His fatherly hand, who pities His children as a father pities his own. May He teach you to forgive as you have been forgiven, not to excuse what is wrong, but to leave vengeance with Him who judges righteously, and to walk in the freedom of those who are no longer slaves to bitterness. May He surround you with wise and godly counsel, with faithful believers who will bear your burden with you, and with shepherds who can care for your soul. If the distress grows heavy, we urge you not to bear it alone, but to seek help quickly from a trusted pastor or counselor and from those near to you who can support you, and if you ever feel in danger, to reach at once to someone you trust or to a crisis helpline in your country.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who hears the cry of the afflicted and whose ear is not shut against Thy people, look in tender pity upon this Thy child and upon his mother. Thou hast seen the tears and the long years of sorrow. Thou knowest the power of anger and the snares of the evil one. We confess that without Thee we can do nothing, and that all deliverance must come from Thy free grace. Have mercy, O Lord. Find a ransom for this mother, and deliver her from the power of darkness. Break the yoke of wrath that has bound generation to generation, and let it be broken by the blood of the Lamb. Let every evil work and every curse be made of no effect, for Thou hast said that no weapon formed against Thy people shall prosper. Speak peace to this home where there has been so much drama and strife. Give to this dear one strength to endure, comfort in sorrow, and a heart to live and to declare Thy works. Keep him from despondency, lift him from the pit, and enrich him with Thy grace, that he may know that Thou hast brought him forth not empty but with the silver and gold of Thy lovingkindness. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus Christ has found a ransom and ever lives to intercede. Amen.
