We join you in lifting up your mother before the Lord, for we know how heavy it is on the heart when a mother is not feeling well and we want to see her restored and comforted. We thank you for honoring her and bringing her needs before God, for He cares deeply for her and for you.
We are reminded of the compassion of our Father who is our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 tells us to praise Yahweh and not forget all His benefits, who forgives all our sins, who heals all our diseases. Jeremiah 30:17 declares, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And James 5:15 assures us that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We can bring every burden to Him, for Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray together for her now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear mother to Your throne of grace. We ask that You lay Your healing hand upon her, ease whatever affliction or weakness she is feeling, and restore her strength and health according to Your perfect will. Give wisdom to any doctors or caregivers who may attend to her, grant her peace and rest, and let her feel Your presence and comfort in this time. We also pray for her child who interceded for her, that You would give peace, faith, and trust while waiting upon You. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
We want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want you to know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray and find hope for healing both for the body and for the soul.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your mother daily, to care for her with love and practical help, and to seek appropriate medical care while trusting the Lord as the ultimate healer. Keep resting in His promises and thanking Him for His mercy, and may His peace guard your heart as you entrust your mother into His loving hands.
