We grieve with you over the heavy burden you are carrying as you care for your mother, and we commend your heart to forgive even in the midst of such deep struggle. The spiritual and emotional battles you describe are real, and we want to remind you that our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother’s condition is not beyond the power of Christ, who came to "proclaim release to the captives... and to set at liberty those who are oppressed" (Luke 4:18). There is hope, even in this dark valley, because Jesus has already triumphed over every demonic stronghold through His death and resurrection.

That said, we must also speak truth in love: forgiveness does not mean enabling destructive behavior or remaining in harm’s way without wisdom. The Bible calls us to love others as ourselves (Mark 12:31), and that includes setting boundaries when necessary to protect your own spirit, mind, and body. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and if your mother’s behaviors are overwhelming you to the point of bitterness or despair, it is wise—and biblical—to seek support, whether through trusted believers, pastoral counsel, or even professional help. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us that "where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory." You do not have to walk this path alone.

We also urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord. Have you surrendered this situation fully to Him, or are you trying to carry it in your own strength? Jesus invites you, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). This does not mean the struggle will disappear, but it means you no longer have to bear it without His supernatural peace and strength.

As for your mother, we must pray with boldness and authority, knowing that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4). Demonic influence is real, but it is no match for the name of Jesus. If she is open to it, pray *over* her—out loud, with Scripture—commanding every unclean spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. If she resists, pray *for* her earnestly, asking God to break through the darkness with His light. Remember the persistence of the widow in Luke 18:1-8, who kept coming to the judge until she received justice. How much more will our Heavenly Father, who loves your mother deeply, respond to your faithful intercession?

Lastly, we must ask: have you shared the Gospel with your mother? True deliverance comes not just from casting out demons, but from filling the void with the Holy Spirit. If she has never surrendered her life to Christ, no amount of behavioral or medical intervention will bring lasting peace. *"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36). Pray that God would soften her heart to receive His truth, and be ready to share it with gentleness and reverence (1 Peter 3:15).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved child of Yours who is weary, overwhelmed, and fighting a battle that feels impossible. Lord, You see the tears they’ve cried in secret, the anger and frustration they’ve wrestled with, and the love they still hold for their mother despite it all. We ask You to be their strength when they are weak, their peace when chaos reigns, and their wisdom when they feel lost.

Lord Jesus, You cast out demons with a word, and we know You have not changed. We stand in Your authority now and declare that every demonic stronghold in [their mother’s] life must be broken. Every spirit of confusion, torment, deception, and infirmity—we command you to flee in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers her mind, emotions, and body. Father, if there are generational curses or ungodly soul ties contributing to her bondage, we ask You to sever them by the power of the cross.

Holy Spirit, we ask You to move mightily in [their mother’s] heart. If she does not know You, convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Draw her to repentance and faith in Christ. If she is a believer but has given ground to the enemy, expose every area of unconfessed sin or bitterness, and lead her to surrender it at the foot of the cross. Restore her mind, Lord, and renew her emotions. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3)—do this miraculous work in her.

Father, we also lift up Your child who is carrying this burden. Guard their heart from bitterness, resentment, or despair. Fill them with Your supernatural love, patience, and discernment. Show them practically how to set godly boundaries that honor You and protect their own well-being. Provide them with a community of believers who will stand with them in prayer and support. If they need professional or medical help for their mother, open those doors and give them wisdom to navigate those paths.

Lord, we know You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We ask for a miracle—whether it comes as sudden deliverance, gradual healing, or the grace to endure. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in this situation. We trust You, even when we cannot see the way forward.

In the powerful name of Jesus, our Healer, Deliverer, and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend, carrying this burden together. We know the weight of seeing a loved one struggle, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. It's like Jesus said, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's not telling us to ignore the struggle, but to let Him carry it with us.

We've been praying for you and your mother, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's wisdom in this. Sometimes, love means setting boundaries to protect ourselves while still being there to support and love them. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. So, keep filling up with God's love and strength.

We're also praying for your mother's healing. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to break every chain and bring freedom. Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving, knowing that God is at work even when we can't see it.

You're not alone in this, and we're here to support you in any way we can. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us by sharing your heartfelt request. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap with you in prayer for your mother, asking our Heavenly Father to bring healing, clarity, and deliverance to her mind, emotions, and spirit. We have also prayed for you, that the Lord would strengthen your heart with His peace, fill you with His love, and grant you the grace to walk in forgiveness even in the midst of overwhelming circumstances.

If you’ve seen God move—whether through a breakthrough in your mother’s condition, a moment of clarity, or even just a deeper sense of His presence sustaining you—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. Your testimony could be a source of hope for others walking a similar path.

If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t yet come, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to continuing with you in prayer, lifting your mother before the throne of grace and asking the Lord to surround you with His comfort and strength. You are not alone in this.

May the Lord bless you with His nearness as you seek Him. May He reveal His faithfulness in ways both big and small, and may His love be the foundation that holds you steady. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
