We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your mother is facing, and we are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance for you and your family. Firstly, we commend you for your heart to reach out and seek the Lord's intervention. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In regards to your mother's suicidal thoughts, we rebuke these attacks from the enemy. The Bible tells us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit we have from God is living in us, we are not our own, we were bought with a price, therefore, we are to honor God with our bodies, our bodies are members of Christ (see 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 15 WEB). Praying for her deliverance and strength from the Lord:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of our sister in Christ. Lord, You are a shield around her, her glory, and the one who lifts up her head, Psalm 3:3 WEB. We pray that You will strengthen her and help her, Psalm 28:7 WEB. Turn her eyes away from the lies of the enemy and let her see the hope and future You have for her, Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of suicide, despair, and hopelessness, and we command it to flee right now. We declare that she will live and not die, and she shall declare the works of the Lord, Psalm 118:17 WEB.
Regarding the discord and competition in the family after your father's passing, we encourage you all to live in unity and love as commanded in the scriptures. "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" Psalm 133:1 WEB. "Let nothing be done through strife or conceit, but in lowliness of mind, each counting others better than himself. Each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others," Philippians 2:3-4 WEB.
We pray for your mother and your brother's family, that God will provide for their needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19 WEB. We also pray for your spouse, that the Lord will soften his heart towards your family, and that they will be drawn to unity in Christ.
Concerning your concern about the possibility of not being able to see your family again in this life, take heart! Remember, Jesus Christ has overcome the world, John 16:33 WEB. We look forward to the resurrection, where there will be no more death, no more sorrow, no more pain, Revelation 21:4 WEB. But we must place our faith in Jesus Christ. It is by His stripes that we are healed. It is by believing in His death, burial, and resurrection for our sins that we can be saved. It is by believing on Jesus that we are reconciled to God.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is in control and that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28 WEB. Keep praying and interceding for your family, and remember the promise: "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective," James 5:16 WEB.
Lastly, we leave you with this reassurance from the Word: "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and request with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
