please pray for me and this day and weekend. Being mothers day I'm feeling hurt. I have two grown adult children that are me people, my husband and I always seem to want to make there life easlier but never see it in return. I'm trying to hard to set boundaries that are hard given the age they both are, but I'm tired of the all about me people they have became. My husband is always scared of losing them but to me we really are not that important to either of thme. When we have holidays we foot the bill and do everything with no help from them, they just come and enjoy with out lifting a hand and if we go to dinner it's on us with no asking if they could help. Well now my daughter has decided that mother's day is all about her and wants to know if we could have a bar-b-q tonight or go out to eat so it frees up Sunday for them. Again all on us tonight our place, money and clean up or the bill to go to dinner. I told my husband no, I want to stand up to both kids and remind them how the witnessed my and husbands honor to our mothers and fathers. Help me to know how to best handle this day with words from God and may each of them my husband as well have the spirit of truth close to there hearts. This is just the beginning of needing to stand up for many areas with them in taking advantage of both my husband and I. May God bless my first time standing up and may he get the glory and may I remain soft spoken and Christ Centered.

before i pray for you, i will advise that you stand your foot down and make your husband and children know what is bothering you, this is normally not a situation for God to handle, you have to put your foot on the ground if you are going to make any progress. father in the name of Jesus i pray for this family, lord Jesus i pray you will convict the hears of the children of this mother, open their eyes and let them see the many sacrifices their parent continue to make and let them commit to change the situation in the home. amen

I know how you feel. Mothers are not asking to be thanked for every little things but we do want to feel appreciated. God bless you and may the Lord give you many blessing this Sunday and always.

May the Lord lift his hands upon you, Karen and give you faith, hope, love, and grace.
