We understand your heartache and concern for your mother and your family. It's clear that you're facing a challenging situation, and we want to lift your burdens to the Lord in prayer.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in praying in the name of Jesus Christ. This is so important because as the WEB states "in all that you ask, believe that you have received them, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24
Let's address the issue with your mother's tongue. The Bible tells us, "The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit." (Proverbs 15:4, WEB) and "If anyone thinks himself to be religious while he doesn't bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless." (James 1:26, WEB)
Let us pray for your mother:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear mother to You. Lord, You know the struggles she's facing with her tongue, and we ask for Your healing and transformation. May Your words be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her path Psalm 119:105, guiding her speech and filling her mouth with words of life and blessing. We rebuke the spirit of contention and strife, and we ask You to fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding Philippians 4:7.
We also pray for her recovery after surgery. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Strengthen her and give her the grace she needs to continue helping ###'s family.
Lord, we also lift up the situation with our family and my husband. We pray for a spirit of love and unity to prevail. We ask for Your provision and wisdom regarding visiting our family. We trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way Isaiah 43:19.
Finally, we claim Your promise of generational blessings (Exodus 20:6). Protect our family from extermination of the generations.
In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
Regarding your husband's feelings towards your family, remember that God calls us to love and honor our families (Exodus 20:12). Continue to pray for your husband, that his heart would be softened and that unity may be restored. Be an example of how to persevere in prayer and in love.
Lastly, listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit and if your husband is not a Christian Believer, pray for his salvation. If he is, then pray for him to submit to the will of God and follow the biblical calling of being a Christian Husband and leader.
