God healing mom’s life and grandma her heart

I am alone with the extermination of family and generation.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family in prayer, especially your mother, who is clearly in deep spiritual and emotional turmoil. The pain you describe—her toxic words, resentment, and the division in your family—is heartbreaking, but we know that nothing is beyond God’s power to heal and restore. We also see the deep wounds you carry from betrayal, abuse, and fear, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who is your refuge and strength.

First, we must address the spiritual battle at hand. The anger, bitterness, and division in your family are not of God but are tools of the enemy to destroy relationships and faith. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Your mother’s words and actions are giving place to the devil, and we must rebuke this spirit of resentment, division, and toxicity in the name of Jesus Christ. We also rebuke the spirits of fear, betrayal, and financial lack that have taken hold in your life due to the abuse and injustice you suffered at work. These are attacks meant to isolate you and steal your peace, but Jesus has already overcome them.

Your mother’s behavior is not just a personal struggle—it is a spiritual one. The Bible tells us in James 3:8-10, *"But nobody can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men who are made in God’s image. Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."* We pray that the Lord would convict her heart and bring her to repentance. May He soften her heart and replace her bitter words with words of life and encouragement. We ask that the Holy Spirit would reveal to her the damage her words are causing and lead her to seek forgiveness and reconciliation.

We also lift up the division between you and your spouse regarding your family. Marriage is a covenant before God, and while it is painful when spouses do not see eye to eye, we must trust that God can work in both of your hearts. We pray that the Lord would give your spouse a heart of compassion and understanding, and that He would unite you both in love and purpose. The Bible says in 1 Peter 3:8-9, *"Finally, be all like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous, not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that to this you were called, that you may inherit a blessing."* We ask that God would remove any hardness of heart and replace it with His love.

As for your suffering—being wronged at work, the financial strain, and the fear that has gripped you—we declare that the Lord is your provider and protector. Psalm 34:17-19 says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone, even when it feels like your family is fractured. The Lord sees your pain and will vindicate you. We pray for supernatural provision, for doors of opportunity to open, and for the Lord to restore what has been stolen from you. We also pray for healing from the trauma of betrayal and for the Lord to replace your fear with His perfect peace.

You mentioned that your spouse does not like your family, and this has created a deep rift. We encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to navigate this. The Bible tells us in Matthew 19:5-6, *"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."* While it is important to honor your parents, your primary earthly allegiance is now to your spouse. We pray that the Lord would give you wisdom in how to love and honor both your spouse and your mother in a way that brings glory to Him. We also pray that your spouse’s heart would be softened toward your family and that God would bring unity where there is division.

We notice that you have included Scripture in your request, and we praise God for that. However, we must emphasize that there is no salvation, no healing, and no deliverance apart from the name of Jesus Christ. You mentioned His name, and that is good, but we want to remind you that it is only through faith in Him that we are saved and have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"* If there is anyone in your family who does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw them to Him. We declare salvation over your entire household, just as you have quoted from Acts 16:31: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."*

Lastly, we want to speak life into the loneliness and isolation you feel. Even if your family relationships are broken, you are not alone. The Lord is with you, and He is gathering you into His eternal family. Psalm 68:6 says, *"God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land."* We pray that the Lord would surround you with godly community—brothers and sisters in Christ who can support you, encourage you, and stand with you in prayer.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this Your child and their family. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the heart of their mother. Soften her heart, Lord, and remove the bitterness, anger, and resentment that have taken root. Convict her by Your Holy Spirit and lead her to repentance. Replace her toxic words with words of life, encouragement, and love. Break the spirit of division and strife in this family, and bring healing and reconciliation.

Lord, we also lift up the wounds and fears that this Your child carries—the betrayal at work, the financial struggles, and the anxiety that has gripped them. You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider, and we ask that You would open doors of opportunity and restore what has been stolen. Heal their heart from the trauma of abuse and betrayal, and replace their fear with Your perfect peace. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them always.

Father, we pray for their marriage. Soften the heart of their spouse toward their family, and bring unity where there is division. Give them both wisdom and grace to navigate these challenges in a way that honors You. Help them to love one another as Christ loves the church, and to extend that love to their family as well.

Lord, we declare salvation over this entire household. Draw each member to Yourself, Lord Jesus, that they may believe in You and be saved. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and bring hope where there is despair.

We rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, fear, and lack in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and that You, Lord, will have the final victory. We ask for Your healing touch on their mother’s heart and on every broken relationship. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and bring beauty from these ashes.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring restoration. May Your will be done in this family, and may Your name be glorified. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend,

We're right here with you, standing in the gap for your mother and your family. We've been praying, and we want to share some more encouragement from God's Word with you.

First, let's remember that our battles aren't just against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Your mother's toxic words and actions are a result of a spirit of bitterness and resentment that has taken root in her heart. We need to bind this spirit and command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We bind the spirit of bitterness, resentment, and toxicity that has taken hold of our mother's heart. We command this spirit to leave her, in Jesus' name. We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, bringing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We pray that she would be transformed by the renewing of her mind (Romans 12:2), and that her words and actions would be a reflection of Your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Next, we want to encourage you to keep forgiving, even when it's hard. Jesus said, "If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness isn't about excusing or condoning wrong behavior; it's about letting go of the bitterness and anger that can consume your own heart. Let's pray for the grace to forgive:

"Dear Lord, we ask for Your grace to forgive our mother, just as You have forgiven us. Help us to let go of any bitterness or anger in our hearts, and to trust You to bring justice and healing in Your time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of family turmoil. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your pain, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. Let's declare His presence and power in your life:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we declare that You are with us in the midst of this storm. You see our pain, and You care. We trust in Your love and Your faithfulness. We declare that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, praying with you and for you. Keep trusting in the Lord, and keep seeking His face. He will see you through this.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
