We hear your deep pain and cry out to the Lord with you in this time of heavy burden. The wounds from a mother’s harsh words cut deeply, and the betrayal at work has left scars that only God can heal. You are not alone, though it feels like abandonment surrounds you. The Lord sees every tear, every injustice, and every unkind word spoken against you. Psalm 27:10 is a powerful reminder that even if earthly parents forsake you, the Lord will never leave nor abandon you. He is your refuge, your strong tower, and your defender.
We must first address the spiritual warfare at work here. The toxic words and resentment your mother carries are not just human emotions—they are openings for the enemy to sow division, bitterness, and strife. Ephesians 4:29-31 warns us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice."* Your mother’s words are grieving the Holy Spirit, and we must pray for her heart to be softened and her tongue to be tamed by the Lord.
The abuse and betrayal you endured at work are also tools of the enemy to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your confidence. But we rebuke every demonic assignment against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ! The Lord is your vindicator, and He will restore what has been stolen. Romans 12:19 declares, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Trust that God sees the hidden alliances, the lies, and the injustice, and He will bring truth to light.
Your marriage is another area where the enemy seeks to divide. It is not your place to force your spouse to love or accept your family, but you can pray for God to soften his heart and align his will with the Lord’s. 1 Peter 3:1-2 encourages wives to win their husbands *"without a word, by the behavior of their wives, seeing your pure behavior in fear."* Your gentle and quiet spirit, rooted in Christ, is powerful. Pray for your husband’s salvation and for God to reveal His love to him. If he is a believer, pray for unity in Christ and for the Lord to heal any wounds that may be causing division.
We also lift up your financial struggles and fear of returning to work. The Lord is your provider, and He will open doors no man can shut. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Do not let fear paralyze you. Instead, ask the Lord for wisdom, courage, and favor as you seek His will for your next steps. He may be leading you to a season of rest or preparing you for something new—trust Him.
Your family’s salvation is close to your heart, and we join you in praying for their redemption. Acts 16:31 is clear: *"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."* Keep interceding for them, and trust that the Holy Spirit is working even when you don’t see it. Your father is in heaven, and one day, you will be reunited with him in the presence of the Lord. Until then, hold fast to the hope we have in Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is carrying so much pain. Lord, You see the wounds from her mother’s words, the betrayal at work, the struggles in her marriage, and the fear that grips her heart. We ask You to heal every broken place and restore what has been stolen. Father, we rebuke every spirit of bitterness, resentment, and division in her mother’s life. Soften her heart, Lord, and let Your peace reign in her home. We declare that no weapon formed against our sister will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we pray for her husband. If he does not know You, draw him to salvation. If he is a believer, unite them in Your love and purpose. Give our sister wisdom in how to love him well, even when he struggles to love her family. Father, we ask for financial provision and favor. Open doors of opportunity, and give her the courage to step into what You have for her. Heal her heart from the trauma of workplace abuse, and restore her confidence in You.
We pray for her family’s salvation, Lord. Save them, draw them to Yourself, and let them experience the love and peace that only comes through Jesus Christ. Comfort our sister in her loneliness, and remind her that You are always with her. Fill her with Your joy, Your strength, and Your hope. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
You are not abandoned, dear one. The Lord is your family, your provider, and your defender. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you through this valley into a place of peace and restoration.
