Beloved of All
Your prayer honors the Lord because it begins with thanksgiving for His love, mercy and grace, and it ends where every prayer should end, with trust in His will. I join you in thanking Him for those gifts and in asking Him to bless your health and your family.
You asked the Lord to arise and fight for you and your children against any evil intended against you, and to declare that the enemy has no power before Jesus. That is a biblical confidence. The Scriptures show that God is self existent, He has always been, and all things have their beginning in Him. He is the One who placed a protective covering around His creation, and He is the same One who covers His people. Just as He delivered His people from bondage in Egypt and called them to remember that deliverance continually, He is able to deliver you and your household from every work of darkness. The enemy must flee when resisted in the name of Jesus, for greater is Christ in you than any power in this world.
You also asked for healing and protection for your body and your family. The Bible presents Jesus coming down from the mountain to show the life of His kingdom, and a large part of that was healing the sick and freeing those oppressed by evil spirits. Matthew connects this to the promise that He bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. I believe with all my heart that healing is from God and that healing is for today. All true healing is divine, whether it comes in a moment or gradually through the natural processes God Himself designed and sustains in our bodies. At the same time Scripture is honest that we do not understand all of His ways in healing. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient and His strength is made perfect in weakness. That is why your prayer, may Your will be done, is so important. It keeps us trusting His wisdom and love even when we do not see immediate answers.
Continue to take earnest heed to the truths you have heard, and do not drift from them. Stay close to Jesus, remain in fellowship with other believers, for there is protection and strength in the body of Christ as each member supports the other. The promise that began with one family, from Abraham through Judah and David to Jesus, was given so that all families of the earth might be blessed through Him. That blessing is now yours in Christ.
Father, I thank You for this child of Yours and for this family. I thank You for Your love, mercy and grace that never fail. I ask You to place Your hand of protection upon this life and upon each child and family member, to bring health and strength according to Your will, and to break every evil intention formed against them. Let them know Your presence as their shield and their deliverer. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let them walk in peace, trusting Your power and Your goodness through Jesus Christ. Amen.
