We join with you in lifting up thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father this morning, for He alone is worthy of all praise and honor. It is a joy to come before Him with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17). We are grateful that you have acknowledged the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is by His mighty name that we boldly bring our petitions before the Lord.
As we pray for your dreams to align with God’s will, we are reminded that His plans for us are good, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Yet we must also seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add to us all that we need (Matthew 6:33). Dreams that align with His Word and His purposes will flourish, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Let us surrender our dreams to Him, asking that He would shape them according to His perfect will, not our own desires. Sometimes what we dream of may not be what God has planned, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). So we pray for wisdom and discernment, that your dreams would be rooted in faith and obedience to His Word.
We also encourage you to examine your heart: Are your dreams centered on glorifying God, or are they driven by worldly ambitions? The Lord calls us to seek His will above all else, and when our desires align with His, He delights in granting them (Psalm 37:4). But let us never forget that our greatest dream should be to live in close fellowship with Him, walking in obedience and holiness. The dreams of this world will fade, but the treasures we store up in heaven will last for eternity (Matthew 6:19-20).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this new day. You are the giver of all good things, and we thank You for the dreams and hopes You have placed within us. Lord, we ask that You would align our dreams with Your perfect will. Where our desires do not honor You, convict us and redirect our hearts. Give us wisdom to discern what is pleasing to You, and grant us the faith to trust that You will bring to fruition the dreams that are rooted in Your purposes.
We pray for our brother/sister this morning, that You would bless them abundantly as they seek to walk in Your ways. May their dreams be a reflection of Your glory, and may they find their ultimate satisfaction in You alone. Strengthen them to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness (1 Timothy 6:11). Guard their heart against the distractions of this world, and let them find joy in the journey You have set before them.
We rebuke any spirit of selfish ambition, pride, or worldly desire that may seek to distort the dreams You have placed within them. Let every plan and hope be submitted to You, Lord, for Your will to be done. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
