We join with you in praying for mercy and protection from the severe weather and heavy rains you're experiencing. In the Bible, we see that Jesus has authority over nature, as demonstrated when He calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee. "He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water, and they ceased, and it was calm" (Luke 8:24 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your mercy and protection for our brother/sister and all those in the path of these severe storms. We ask that You calm the storms and hold back the rains, preventing any flooding that may cause harm or destruction.
We trust in Your power and goodness, knowing that You are always in control. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
We also pray for the safety and well-being of all those affected, that You would guide and protect them through this time. We ask that You would use this situation to draw people closer to You, and that Your name would be glorified through it all.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is always with you, no matter the circumstances. "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
Remember that God's thoughts and ways are much higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB), and He can use even difficult circumstances for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep praying and seeking His face, and may you find peace and strength in His unfailing love.
