We join with you in this beautiful and holy desire to spend more and more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that your heart is longing after Him. This hunger for His presence is itself a gift from God and evidence of His work in you.
The Scripture tells us James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. And also Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Your desire to seek Him more deeply is pleasing to the Father, for He longs for fellowship with His children.
We are reminded of the psalmist who said Psalm 27:4 One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life, to see Yahweh's beauty, and to inquire in his temple. And Jesus Himself taught us Matthew 6:33 But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. When we put Him first, everything else finds its proper place. Jesus also said John 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear brother or sister to You. We thank You for placing this holy desire in their heart to spend more quality time with You. Father, we ask that You help them to redeem the time and to set apart daily moments to be still before You, to hear Your voice through Your Word and to speak with You in prayer. Remove distractions and weariness, quiet their heart, and draw them into deeper intimacy with Your Son. Help them to be like Mary who chose the good part, sitting at the feet of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, give them discipline and delight in seeking You, and let their love for Jesus grow stronger each day. Let their time with You bear fruit in peace, wisdom, and holiness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to guard this time faithfully. Set a consistent time and place each day to meet with Him, even as Jesus Himself rose early to pray while it was still dark as shown in Mark 1:35. Come to Him through prayer, through reading and meditating on the Scriptures, and through quiet worship. Be still and know that He is God as Psalm 46:10 teaches us, and He will surely meet you there. He is faithful and He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Your longing to spend more and more quality time with the Lord Jesus Christ is a blessed sign of His grace at work in your soul, and I rejoice to join you in prayer for it.
Our Lord invites you as He invited His disciples of old, Come and break your fast. To feast with Jesus is not a secondary thing, it is essential. Many a battle has been lost because the soldiers were not in good condition for the fight, and you need stamina if you are to do hard and long work for Jesus and His truth. When we are weary with a night of fruitless toil, when words become an impertinence and questions multiply, what we most need is Christ Himself. A sitting silently at the feet of Jesus is of more worth than all the clatter of busy service, for communion with Christ will teach you a reverence which words cannot express.
This communion is the very objective of our religion, to bring you into union and fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. There is a communion of faith, and there is a communion of conversation, for in prayer what do you do but talk with God, and if you pray with faith, Christ talks with you. You tell Him the dangers that lie before you, and He tells you of the shield of Omnipotence with which He can and will guard you. He who is much in prayer will hold very much fellowship with Jesus Christ. Beware of a mechanical religion which comes near but never comes into real contact with Jesus. Deep waters are still, and the nearest fellowship is often the most quiet and inward touching of the blessed Person of Christ.
Therefore put prayer first of all, as your Master did. He rose up a great while before day and went out into a solitary place and there prayed, though all nature was akin to Him and the desert was as His own chamber to speak with the Father face to face. If even He must have His special time and place to pray, how much more do we. Seek a quiet hour, early if you can, before the demands of the day knock at the door. Come to Jesus as you did at the first, as a sinner needing His life, for the life which lives in you is the same life which dwells in Christ, and by living union with Him you shall never lack.

We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You will help this dear soul to spend more and more quality time with You. Draw the heart to love the secret place, to put You first in the morning and to walk with You through the day. Give a hunger for Your Word and a delight in prayer as true conversation with You. Keep from mere outward form and grant real contact with Jesus, that by beholding Him the soul may be quickened and strengthened for all duty and trial. Let this fellowship be deepened day by day, until Christ is all, His Bible precious, His presence dear, and His name written upon every hour. Grant this, Father, for the sake and glory of Jesus Christ Himself, our life and our hope. Amen.
