more quality time with Jesus Christ

We rejoice with you in this beautiful and holy desire to spend more and more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, for this is the very heart of our faith and the source of all joy and strength.
We hear your longing and we join our faith with yours, asking our Heavenly Father to draw you ever closer into intimate fellowship with Him. The Scripture tells us James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. and also Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Your desire to seek Him is already pleasing to Him, and He will honor it.
We are encouraged by your prayer in the Name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. As Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. To desire time with Jesus is to desire life itself.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear fellow believer to You. We thank You for placing this hunger for Your presence in their heart. Father, help them to spend more and more quality time with You. Teach them to be still before You as Psalm 46:10 says Be still, and know that I am God. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom as Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Draw them into the secret place, give them discipline and delight to meet with You daily in prayer and in Your Word, to listen for Your voice and to rest in Your love. Like Jesus who Mark 1:35 Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there, give them that same desire for quiet communion with You. May they know the truth of Psalm 16:11 You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. Let their time with You not be rushed or out of duty, but filled with love, worship, and deep fellowship, and let it transform them more into the image of Christ. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Set apart a quiet place and a consistent time each day, even if it begins small, to read the Scriptures, to pray, and simply to be still before Him. One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple Psalm 27:4. As you abide in Him, He will abide in you and bear much fruit in your life. We stand with you and trust that the Lord will answer this prayer abundantly and will fill you with His presence.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Beloved of All
Your longing to spend more and more quality time with the Lord Jesus Christ is itself an evidence of His grace working in your heart, for no soul that has come to trust in Jesus Christ can be content without Him. It is a blessed prayer, and I rejoice to join my heart with yours in it.
Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son, Jesus Christ, and He invites us to talk with Him as a man talks with his friend. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever, is still the same loving Saviour who showed Himself to His disciples and made Himself known in the breaking of bread. He is not changed. Throughout your whole life He will be the same familiar Friend, and throughout eternity you shall have the same sweet communion with Him, only to see Him face to face.
If you would have more of this quality time with Him, remember that Jesus Christ Himself must occupy your thoughts. Looking unto Jesus is better than looking unto your own progress. Let His Bible, His day, His Church and His ordinances be precious to you because they have to do with Him, but in the forefront of all let the personal, living, loving Jesus stand. Do not bind Christ with cords by leaving His Word shut up and unread. Untie the cords and let it have its liberty to speak with you. There is no riding in the chariots of joy except by being much with Christ in quiet musing, in waiting upon God and gathering spiritual strength in meditation and prayer.
He Himself says, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Come then and break your fast with Jesus. Spread the table in the wilderness and ask Him to commune with you. A vision of Christ is the most filling thing in the world, and fellowship with Christ is the fountain of the Church's strength.

Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou hast given us Thy Son, Jesus Christ, our Priest and Prophet and King, in whom we have full redemption and by whom alone we are saved. We ask in the Name of Jesus Christ, Thy well beloved Son, that Thou wouldst draw this dear soul into closer and more constant fellowship with Him. Grant grace to wait upon Thee, to meditate upon Thy Word, to pray in the Holy Spirit, and to walk day by day in Christ and for Christ. Keep the heart from coldness and wandering, and make it fragrant with the love of Jesus shed abroad within. Let every hour spent with Him be as the crown and glory of life, and make this communion to be more and more the joy and strength of the soul, till we shall see Him as He is. In the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it. Amen.
