We rejoice with you in this beautiful and godly desire to spend more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we join our faith with yours as we bring this before our Heavenly Father.
Your longing to be closer to Him is evidence of His Spirit working in you, for He puts that hunger in our hearts. The Scripture tells us James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. And Jeremiah 29:13 You shall seek me and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart. God does not hide from those who seek Him diligently, He rewards that seeking with His presence.
We encourage you to make this time intentional and protected. Quality time with Jesus grows through remaining in His Word, through prayer, and through stillness before Him. As Jesus said John 15:4 Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. This remaining is daily, not just on Sundays, but meditating on His Word day and night and bringing every thought to Him in prayer. We also remember Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God. In a busy world, stillness is an act of trust that He is Lord over our time, and Psalm 27:4 reminds us to desire above all to dwell in Yahweh's house all the days of our life, to see Yahweh's beauty, and to inquire in his temple. We encourage you to set aside a quiet place and a consistent time each day, to read the Scriptures prayerfully, to pray without ceasing, and to listen for His still small voice.

How good it is that the Lord has stirred in your heart a longing for more time with Himself. That hunger is itself a mark of His grace at work in you, for the soul that has once tasted that the Lord is gracious will desire to come again and again to the table where Jesus Himself is both host and feast.
We join you in prayer that our Heavenly Father will draw you into deeper and more constant fellowship with His Son, in the name of Jesus Christ. May He help you to put prayer first of all, as our Lord did when He rose a great while before day and went away into a solitary place to speak face to face with the Father. There is a communion of conversation in prayer where you talk to God and Christ by His Spirit talks with you, where you tell Him your dangers and He tells you of His shield, where you pour out your heart and He pours in His strength.
We pray that you may know what it is to come and break your fast with Jesus. Many a battle is lost because the soldier is not in good condition for the fight, and you need stamina if you are to stand and serve long for His truth. To sit silently at the feet of Jesus is of more worth than all outward activity, and a little time truly spent with Him will make you strong for the work and steady in trial. Seek not a mechanical religion of outward hearing only, but that inward, mysterious touching of the blessed Person of Christ, where life and love flow from Him to you.
May the Lord teach you to redeem time for this fellowship, to come to Him as you came at the first, as a sinner needing His mercy, to bring to Him your hard questions and your everyday burdens, and to prove how ready He is to make you understand His love. He who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord is faithful, and He will keep you in that living union where His life becomes your life.
