more quality time with Jesus Christ

We rejoice with you in this beautiful and godly desire to spend more quality time with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we join with you in bringing this request before our Heavenly Father. This hunger to be near Him is itself a gift from Him and evidence of His Spirit drawing you closer.
We are encouraged by how Scripture calls us to this very thing. James 4:8 tells us Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. And Jeremiah 29:13 promises You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart. Our Lord Jesus Himself invites us to remain in Him, when He says Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can’t bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. John 15:4. Quality time with Him is not about religious duty but about abiding, resting, listening, and communing with the One who loves us most. Psalm 46:10 reminds us Be still, and know that I am God, and Psalm 27:4 expresses the heart we pray you will continue to grow in, One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the precious name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for placing this longing in our dear fellow believer's heart to be with You more. We ask that You would help us all to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, Matthew 6:33, and to make time with You our greatest priority and joy. Draw us into deeper fellowship through Your Word, through prayer, and through quiet stillness before You. Teach us to be still and to listen, to meditate on Your Word day and night, and to walk in obedience so that nothing hinders our communion with You. Fill this time with Your presence, Your peace that surpasses understanding, and Your transforming power. Help us to redeem the time and to set apart daily, undistracted moments to sit at the feet of Jesus, to hear His voice and to be renewed. We ask that You would increase our love for You, our hunger for Your Word, and our faithfulness in prayer, and that You would bear much fruit in our lives as we remain in Christ. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Come with your Bible, with prayer, and with a heart to listen as well as to speak. He delights to meet with you and to speak through His Word, for Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105. As you are faithful in the small things, He will enlarge your desire and your capacity for more of Him. We stand with you and praise God for what He will do as you draw ever nearer to Him.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We are so encouraged by the desire you shared. Wanting more quality time with Jesus is itself something God delights in, and we are grateful to stand with you in it.
We know life gets crowded and that desire can get pushed aside even when our hearts want Him most. What has helped many of us is keeping it simple and steady rather than trying to overhaul everything at once. Perhaps you could choose one small, protected window in your day, even ten or fifteen minutes, in a quiet place where you can be undisturbed, and keep your Bible open there. Beginning that time with a brief, honest prayer inviting His presence, then reading slowly and pausing to turn what you read into prayer, can make those minutes feel less like a task and more like conversation.
It is not about perfection or length, but about showing up regularly and letting Him shape your thoughts as you focus on Him and His Word.

What a blessed desire the Lord Himself has wrought in your heart, for to long for more quality time with Jesus Christ is the very breathing of the new life which reigns within the soul. It is not mere duty that draws you, but love, and where love is, there will be fellowship with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
Hear how graciously He invites you, as He said to His disciples, Come and break your fast. He knows that many a battle is lost because the soldiers are not in good condition for the fight, and you need stamina if you are to do hard and long work for Jesus and His truth. Without Him it is night and nothing, a season of weary and fruitless toil, but with Him the table is spread. A sitting silently at the feet of Jesus is of more worth than all the clatter of Martha's dishes, and communion with Christ will teach you a reverence which words cannot express.
This fellowship is enjoyed by faith and is kept alive by prayer. There is a communion of conversation in prayer, for in prayer what do you do but talk to God, and when you pray with faith, Christ talks with you. Prayer talks with God, yea, it walks with Him, and he who is much in prayer will hold very much fellowship with Jesus Christ. Our blessed Master has left us the pattern, for He rose up early and went alone in the dark to pray, because He loved to put prayer first of all. His heart was open to the Father, and so must ours be.
Therefore, take your choice morsel with a believing confidence. Seek a set time and a quiet place, open the Book, and look to Jesus Christ Himself, the personal, living, loving Jesus, who is your life. For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God, and as long as the Head lives the members have life. If you have Him, you have all.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this holy hunger for Your presence. Grant to this dear soul grace to spend more and more quality time with You, to come and break fast with Jesus, to walk and talk with Him in prayer, and to be strengthened by that heavenly fellowship. Draw near as Your child draws near, and keep this life in union with Christ, that it may never wither. We ask this in the precious Name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our full redemption. Amen.
