Prayer Partner
My 4 month old infant Grandniece, ###, is doing well with outpatient treatment every 72-96 hours without a blood transfusion at the hospital for her Auto Immune Hemolytic Anemia. But as of two days ago, we learned that her doctor was exposed to Chickenpox and got Shingles the next morning. Another doctor came to us and said that because of this Chickenpox exposure, my Grandniece will need to be isolated for the next four weeks in another room during her clinic visits. She will also have to undergo IVIG treatments starting today along with a new oral antibiotic that will need to be given 4 times a day for 20 days because of the Chickenpox exposure. As of Tuesday, she had her second (of four) Rituximab treatments for her AIHA and has had no problems or severe reactions. The doctors said that the IVIG will reboot her immune system with the hopes that her body will produce new antibodies that will no longer attack and destroy her red blood cells. I know that Rituximab and IVIG have been given to patients at the same time, but I still pray that my baby Grandniece has no complications from either of them or the medicine she is taking.
Lord Jesus, we come into your presence before your throne, and the throne of our Almighty Father, giving thanksgiving for all our prayers that have been answered for baby ###. Lord, we are so blessed to have her home, but we know and understand that she still needs the continuing touch of your healing hand, and we know that by her amazing joy, happiness, and smiles, that you and God are doing just that, along with her medical test results that keep improving. O' Lord, please continue to heal and restore her fully, without any short or longterm complications or side effects due to her illness, drug treatments, and any exposure to other sicknesses—now and for the rest of her life. I pray that her restoration be swift. I pray, O' Lord, that you and God continue to heal her, bless her, and to protect her from all evil. And I pray for the continued strength and wisdom that you have given her mother. O' Lord, hear and read my petition. Let your love, joy, truth, and all your blessings be upon both this mother and child. May all power, glory, riches, strength, majesty and might, be unto our God, and to you, Lord Jesus, forever more.
