Monsters. Very cruel

Anonymous

Beloved of All
people in the family /friends who WERE very nice. When I had a major loss, those same people became monsters especially behind closed doors. I confronted them and their fury rose. I then cut ties. They were very cruel and yelled at me when I set boundaries. They did very underhanded things then played the victim. Father in Jesus name please protect me from these entities.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We grieve with you over the deep betrayal and cruelty you have endured from those who were once kind—only to reveal their true nature in your time of greatest vulnerability. The pain of such deception is profound, especially when it comes from family or friends who should have been a source of comfort. Yet we see in Scripture that even Jesus was betrayed by one of His own (John 13:18), and David cried out in Psalm 41:9, *"Even my close friend, someone I trusted, one who shared my bread, has turned against me."* You are not alone in this suffering, and the Lord sees the wickedness of those who have turned against you.

The fury and manipulation you describe—especially when you set godly boundaries—reveal hearts that are not submitted to Christ. Proverbs 6:16-19 warns that the Lord *hates* hands that shed innocent blood, hearts that devise wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, false witnesses, and those who stir up conflict. Their behavior is not of God but of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). You did right to cut ties, for Scripture commands us to *have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them* (Ephesians 5:11). Their victim-playing is a tactic of the devil himself, who masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Do not be deceived—their rage when confronted is evidence of their guilt, not your wrongdoing.

Yet we must also examine our own hearts in this, for Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does *not* mean submitting to abuse or enabling their sin, but it does mean releasing them to God’s justice while guarding our hearts from bitterness. Romans 12:19-21 declares, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* Your protection is not in retaliating but in trusting the Lord to vindicate you in His time.

As for the spiritual dimension of this attack, we recognize that such cruelty often has demonic influence behind it. These are not merely human conflicts but battles against *principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness* (Ephesians 6:12). That is why we stand with you in prayer, binding these evil forces and commanding them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You have invoked the name of the Father in Jesus’ name, and this is your shield—*for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved* (Acts 4:12). Never forget that your authority in prayer comes through Christ alone, and the enemy *must* flee when you resist him in Jesus’ name (James 4:7).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, lifting up Your beloved child who has been wounded by the betrayal of those who should have shown love. Lord, You see the cruelty, the manipulation, and the hidden wickedness that has been unleashed against them. We ask You to be their *strong tower*, their *refuge and strength*, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Expose every lie, every scheme of the enemy, and let the truth of Your righteousness shine like the noonday sun.

We bind every spirit of deception, rage, and manipulation that has operated through these individuals. In the name of Jesus, we command these evil forces to be silenced and cast out—no longer permitted to torment or harass Your child. Father, we ask for supernatural protection over their mind, emotions, and spirit. Heal the wounds of betrayal, Lord, and replace their pain with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them not be overcome by evil, but let them overcome evil with good, even as You work all things together for their ultimate good (Romans 8:28).

Give them wisdom, Lord, to know when to speak and when to remain silent, when to confront and when to walk away. Let them not be entangled again in the snares of these toxic relationships, but grant them the strength to maintain the boundaries You have led them to set. If there is any unforgiveness in their heart, Lord, we ask You to uproot it and replace it with Your love—*not* so they excuse the abuse, but so they are not bound by bitterness. Let them release these people to Your justice, trusting that You will repay (Hebrews 10:30).

Father, we also pray for the salvation of those who have hurt them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. If they are Your children, discipline them and bring them to repentance. If they are not, let this be the moment You draw them to Yourself before it is too late. But above all, Lord, *protect Your child*. Let no harm come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Let them walk in the confidence that *the Lord is their light and their salvation—whom shall they fear?* (Psalm 27:1).

We thank You, Father, that You are *faithful*—even when people are not. You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and let this season of betrayal become a testimony of Your deliverance. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the enemy to ultimately prevail. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working even in this. If you feel led, we encourage you to read Psalm 37—it is a powerful reminder that the wicked will not prosper forever, but those who wait on the Lord will inherit the earth. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. The God of all comfort is with you (2 Corinthians 1:3-4), and He will bring justice in His perfect time.

We're here with you, standing in the gap. We've seen the ugliest side of humanity, just like you have. It's heartbreaking, but we know that God sees it all. He's not surprised by the cruelty or the betrayal. In fact, He's given us a promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We're here to comfort you, to remind you that you're not alone, and to pray with you.

Father, in Jesus' name, we come before You today. We lift up our sister/brother who has been hurt so deeply by those they loved and trusted. Lord, You see their pain, their confusion, their anger. We ask You to be their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Surround them with Your angels, Lord. Let no weapon formed against them prosper. Expose every lie, every scheme of the enemy, and let the truth of Your righteousness shine like the noonday sun.

Keep your eyes on Jesus, beloved. He's got this. Trust that He's working even in this. You're not forgotten. You're not abandoned. The God of all comfort is with you, and He will bring justice in His perfect time.
