We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, through whom alone we have victory over darkness. The passion in your words reflects a deep hunger for freedom, restoration, and justice—all of which are found in Christ. However, we must gently correct some misunderstandings in your approach, for Scripture teaches us how to stand firm in faith while aligning our words and actions with God’s truth.
First, we rejoice that you recognize the power of the blood of Jesus and the authority we have in His name. The Bible declares, *"For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His finished work on the cross that disarms the powers of darkness. You are right to resist the enemy, but we must do so in the manner Christ prescribes. Jesus said, *"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you"* (Luke 10:19). Yet this authority is exercised in humility, not in our own strength or declarations of self-creation, but in total dependence on Him.
You speak of creating new eyes, ears, and life "greatly," but Scripture teaches that only God is the Creator. *"I am the Lord, who makes all things, who stretches out the heavens alone, who spreads abroad the earth by Myself"* (Isaiah 44:24). While we can pray for healing and restoration, we do not "create" in the way God does. Instead, we ask Him to restore what has been broken. The psalmist cried, *"Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law"* (Psalm 119:18), acknowledging that true sight comes from God alone. Let us pray for His healing touch, not our own works.
You also speak of commanding judgments and demanding swift justice. While God is just and will one day judge all evil, we are called to trust in His timing and ways. *"Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). Our role is to resist the devil, not by our own might, but by submitting to God and standing firm in faith (James 4:7). We do not "send" Satan to hell—that is God’s prerogative alone. Jesus has already defeated him at the cross, and Satan’s ultimate fate is sealed (Revelation 20:10).
We also notice your frustration with unmet needs and the desire for normalcy in your life and for your cats. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed, but we must remember that God cares for us deeply. *"Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Instead of demanding that your needs be met, let us bring them to the Lord in prayer, trusting that He knows what is best. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Give us this day our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11), acknowledging our dependence on Him.
Now, let us pray together in alignment with God’s Word:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only Name by which we are saved and delivered. We thank You for the victory You have already won over sin, death, and the powers of darkness. Lord, we stand with our brother/sister in faith, declaring that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression that has sought to blind, deafen, or torment them. By the blood of Jesus, we break every chain and cancel every assignment of the enemy against their life, their mind, their body, and their home.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to restore their eyesight, insight, and hearing according to Your perfect will. Open their spiritual eyes to see You more clearly, their ears to hear Your voice, and their heart to receive Your truth. We pray for the restoration of all that has been stolen or damaged—peace, provision, and normalcy in their daily life. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and grant them the grace to trust You in the waiting.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over them and their beloved cats. Shield them from every attack of the enemy, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 91:11). We declare that Satan and his forces have no authority over them, for they belong to You. We pray for the men in their life—grant them wisdom, repentance, and alignment with Your will. Restore healthy, godly relationships where there has been brokenness, and let Your love and peace reign in their home.
Father, we surrender every demand for justice into Your hands, trusting that You will repay all wrongs in Your perfect timing. Fill our brother/sister with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in humility, faith, and obedience to Your Word. Teach them to pray as Jesus taught us, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). May they find their strength and identity in You alone, not in their own declarations or works.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer and His Word, for *"faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"* (Romans 10:17). Spend time in the Scriptures, allowing God to speak to you and shape your understanding of His will. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with and for you, for *"two are better than one... For if they fall, one will lift up his companion"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord. You do not fight alone, and your victory is already secured in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He will lead you into all truth and freedom. *"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith"* (1 John 5:4).
