We hear your cry and we understand how heavy and frightening it is to be broke and to feel angry about the hardship you are facing. God sees your struggle and He cares about your needs, and we want to lift you up before Him together in Jesus name.
We also hear the anger in your words and we want to gently encourage you about this. It is understandable to feel distressed when finances are tight, but Scripture warns us that anger can quickly lead us away from trusting God. Ephesians 4:26 says, Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and James 1:20 reminds us that the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God. We pray that God will calm your heart and replace that anger with His peace as you bring your needs to Him, because Proverbs 16:32 teaches that he who is slow to anger is better than the mighty.
The Bible assures us that God is our provider and He knows what we need. Philippians 4:19 says, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. At the same time, God calls us to contentment, diligence, and faithful stewardship. 1 Timothy 6:6 says godliness with contentment is great gain, and 2 Thessalonians 3:10 reminds us that if anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. Proverbs 21:5 also teaches that the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. We encourage you to seek God first, to be faithful in honest work as He provides opportunity, to steward what you have wisely, and to seek counsel and help from a local Bible believing church family who can come alongside you practically and spiritually.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to share lovingly that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and find true hope. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, confess Him as Lord, and believe that God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. When we come to God through Jesus, we can come with confidence that He hears us.
We pray together for you now. Father, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You know the financial burden and the anger and distress being felt right now. We ask You to provide for every true need according to Your riches in glory, to open doors for honest work and provision, and to give wisdom to steward all that You provide. Grant peace that surpasses understanding, help to release anger and to trust You fully, and draw this heart closer to Jesus. Help this one to seek first Your Kingdom and to find contentment and hope in You, not in money alone. Lead to a strong local church where support and guidance can be found. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep praying daily in Jesus name, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and to take practical steps as God leads, making a simple budget, being faithful in small things, and asking God for wisdom as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding. God is faithful and He will not abandon you.
