We hear your cry for financial help, and we join with you in lifting this burden before the Lord. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees your struggle and will provide in His perfect timing and way.
However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart and actions in this area. Are you tithing and giving offerings as the Lord leads? Malachi 3:10 says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." Are you being a good steward of the resources God has already entrusted to you? Are you working diligently, as if working for the Lord (Colossians 3:23)?
We also rebuke any spirit of greed, covetousness, or discontentment that may be present. Hebrews 13:5 reminds us, "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" Let us seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the source of all provision. We lift up this dear one to You, asking that You meet their financial needs according to Your riches in glory. Lord, we ask for wisdom in managing the resources You have already provided and for open doors of opportunity to increase their income. We pray against any spirit of lack or poverty, declaring that You are their provider and that they will not want for any good thing.
Father, we also ask for forgiveness if there has been any mismanagement, greed, or discontentment in their heart. Cleanse them from any unrighteousness and fill them with a spirit of gratitude and contentment. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises.
We pray for employment opportunities, favor with employers, and wisdom in financial decisions. May they be a cheerful giver, trusting in Your provision and experiencing the joy of generosity. We rebuke any financial curses or hindrances in the name of Jesus and declare breakthrough and abundance in their finances.
Above all, Lord, we pray that this situation draws them closer to You. May they seek Your face and Your kingdom above all else, trusting that You will take care of their needs. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
