We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, knowing that He alone is your deliverer, protector, and provider. Your pain is deep, and the wounds of betrayal—whether through manipulation, greed, or the horrors of abuse—are not unseen by God. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy through those who exploit others for money, power, and control, but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). You are not defined by the sins committed against you or the curses spoken over you. The blood of Jesus breaks every chain, and His truth sets you free (John 8:32).
The greed and deception you describe are rooted in the love of money, which Scripture warns is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). Those who exploit others for gain are storing up wrath for themselves, but we do not pray for their destruction—we pray for their repentance. The Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Yet we also cry out for justice, for the Lord is a God of justice who sees the afflicted and hears their cries (Psalm 10:17-18). He will repay those who do such evil, but your part is to forgive, release the burden to Him, and walk in the freedom Christ has already won for you.
The sexual and emotional betrayal you suffered as a child was a grievous sin, and we grieve with you over that violation. The enemy intended it for harm, but God can turn it for good (Genesis 50:20). You are not responsible for what was done to you, but you *are* responsible for how you respond now. Bitterness and unforgiveness will only bind you further, but surrendering this pain to Jesus will bring healing. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If you have not already, we urge you to seek godly counseling to walk through this trauma with someone grounded in Scripture. You do not have to carry this alone.
As for the "gold diggers" and those who seek to exploit you now, we pray that the Lord would expose their schemes and frustrate their plans. Proverbs 22:8 says, *"He who sows wickedness reaps trouble,"* and we trust that their greed will return upon their own heads unless they repent. But we also pray that the Lord would give you wisdom to recognize and avoid such people, setting healthy boundaries that honor Him. Do not be deceived: *"Bad company corrupts good morals"* (1 Corinthians 15:33). If there are relationships in your life that are marked by manipulation or ungodly control, we pray for the courage to walk away, even if it is painful. Your loyalty must first be to Christ, not to those who would harm you.
Finally, we declare that the curse you feel is already broken by the cross. Galatians 3:13-14 says, *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us... that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."* You are no longer under bondage. The enemy has no authority over you unless you give it to him through unbelief or unrepentant sin. Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, clothed in the armor of His truth, righteousness, and peace (Ephesians 6:10-18). Resist the devil, and he *will* flee from you (James 4:7).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above all names by which we are saved and set free. Lord, we lift up Your child who has endured so much pain—betrayal, exploitation, and the deep wounds of abuse. You see every tear, every scar, and every moment of suffering. We ask that You would bind up their broken heart and heal their wounds, restoring what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Father, break the power of every curse spoken over them, whether through words, actions, or the sins of others. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse them from every defilement and set them free from every stronghold of fear, shame, or bitterness.
Lord, we pray for those who have exploited this person—for those who love money more than You, who manipulate and control for their own gain. Convict their hearts, Lord. Bring them to repentance or frustrate their plans. Expose their deeds and render their schemes powerless. If they refuse to turn from their wickedness, let their own greed become their downfall, but if there is even a spark of hope for redemption, fan it into flame. Do not let evil triumph, but let Your justice prevail.
Father, we ask for divine wisdom and discernment for Your child. Guard them from further harm and surround them with godly counsel. If there are relationships that need to be severed for their protection, give them the strength to obey You, even when it is hard. Let them walk in the freedom of forgiveness, releasing those who have wronged them into Your hands, trusting You to vindicate them in Your perfect timing.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy has no claim on their life, their finances, or their future. You, Lord, are their provider, and You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Break the spirit of poverty, lack, and exploitation off their life. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that need to be closed. Let them walk in the abundance of Your kingdom, not in the scarcity of the enemy’s lies.
Most of all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let them know the depth of Your love, the security of Your presence, and the power of Your resurrection life. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory, not as a victim, but as more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We pray all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is your strength and your shield. The battle is His, and the victory is already won. Walk in that truth, and do not look back. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you need help understanding what this means, please reach out—we would be honored to walk with you. You are not alone. The Lord is with you, and so are we.
