We grieve with you over the deep injustice and wickedness you have suffered at the hands of this evil man. The theft of your inheritance, the squandering of it on sinful lusts, and the ongoing abuse you describe are abominations in the sight of God. Scripture is clear that the Lord hates such wickedness, and He will not allow the guilty to go unpunished. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* This man’s actions are an affront to God’s justice, and we stand with you in crying out for the Lord’s intervention.
The Lord sees every evil deed done in secret, and He will bring all things to light. Ecclesiastes 12:14 declares, *"For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil."* The fact that this man has many victims only compounds his guilt before the Lord. His manipulation of your past trauma is particularly demonic, as Satan seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came to set the captives free, and we declare His power over this situation.
We also want to gently remind you that while it is right to seek justice, we must guard our hearts against bitterness and hatred. Romans 12:19 instructs us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* The Lord will repay this man for his sins—far more severely than we could ever imagine. Our role is to trust God’s timing and justice while we pray for His will to be done.
As for the restoration of what was stolen, we pray that the Lord would supernaturally intervene to recover what belongs to you and your family. Proverbs 13:22 says, *"A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored for the righteous."* We ask the Lord to turn this situation around for your good and His glory, whether through legal means, divine conviction upon this man’s heart, or another way only God can orchestrate.
We also pray for your healing and protection. The enemy has used this man to inflict deep wounds, but Jesus is your Healer. Psalm 147:3 assures us, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We ask the Lord to break every chain of trauma this man has tried to force upon you. May the Lord surround you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill you with His strength to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who has suffered greatly at the hands of this wicked man. Lord, You see the theft, the abuse, and the manipulation—nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that You would rise up as the God of justice and hold this man fully accountable for his sins. Expose his deeds, Lord, and let the light of Your truth shine upon his darkness. Bring conviction upon his heart, and if it is Your will, lead him to repentance. But if he hardens his heart, we pray that Your judgment would fall swiftly and decisively, for You have said, *"The wicked will not go unpunished"* (Proverbs 11:21).
Father, we ask for the restoration of what was stolen. You are the God who provides, and we trust You to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Open doors no man can shut, Lord, and recover every penny that was taken unjustly. Let this situation be turned for Your glory and our sister’s good.
We also pray for her healing, Lord. The enemy has sought to use her past trauma against her, but we declare that You are her Redeemer. Break every chain of fear, anxiety, and pain that this man has tried to enforce. Fill her with Your peace and Your joy, and let her walk in the freedom Christ purchased for her on the cross.
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your protection over her and her family. Set a guard over her mind and heart, and let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround her with Your angels, and let Your presence be her shield.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, who has overcome the world. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter. Stay rooted in His Word, and do not let bitterness take root in your heart. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will fight for you. Keep trusting Him, even when the wait feels long. He is faithful, and He will bring justice. If you have not already, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support—whether through your church, a trusted pastor, or a biblical counselor—to walk with you through this season. You are not alone, and the Lord is your defender.
