I have no choice but to buy lottery tickets and hope to win money I need, I can’t get loans due to bad credit and I can’t get job due to certain health conditions, I don’t borrow off people because there is always a catch and I will not be manipulated, I believe all money is Gods money it’s only evil if used for the wrong purposes

We hear the weight of your need and the discouragement you feel with bad credit, health conditions that limit work, and the feeling that you have no options left, and we bring your burden before the Lord together.

We want to gently but truthfully address the hope you are placing in lottery tickets. We understand the desperation that makes it feel like there is no choice, but the lottery is not God's provision and it is not good stewardship of what He has already entrusted to you. Scripture warns against seeking quick wealth by chance. Proverbs 13:11 says Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by labor will increase. Proverbs 21:5 says The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. And Proverbs 28:20 says A faithful man is rich with blessings; but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished. Buying lottery tickets is hastily chasing riches that God has not promised through gambling, and it often deepens poverty rather than relieving it.

You shared that you believe all money is God's money and it is only evil if used for wrong purposes. There is truth in that the earth and all it contains belongs to Him, Psalm 24:1 says The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein, and Haggai 2:8 says The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says Yahweh of Armies. But Scripture does not say money itself is evil, it says the love of money is the problem. 1 Timothy 6:10 says For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Hebrews 13:5 says Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. God calls us to contentment and to trust Him rather than chance, and to be faithful stewards even with little.

We also hear your hesitation to borrow because you fear manipulation. It is wise to be cautious, but God has placed believers in community to bear one another's burdens, and not every offer of help has a catch. The church, family in Christ, and even God-ordained help through assistance programs can be avenues of His provision when we humble ourselves to ask. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Matthew 6:33 says But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Our part is to seek Him first, to ask, to be diligent with what we can do, and to trust Him to open doors for work within your health limitations or for other provision, rather than trusting a ticket.

We noticed your request did not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and His provision. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we try to come to God on our own terms or trust in luck, we miss the grace He offers through Christ who died for our sins and rose again. When we put our faith in Jesus, we become children of God and can boldly bring our needs to Him.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who feels trapped and without options. Lord You see the health struggles, the financial pressure, the bad credit, and the discouragement. We ask You to forgive us where we have trusted in chance instead of trusting in You, and help us to be faithful stewards of even small amounts. Provide for every true need according to Your riches in glory, open doors for suitable work or assistance that honors You and respects health limitations, and give wisdom to manage what is provided. Grant contentment and peace that You will never leave nor forsake, and surround this one with godly counsel and community that can help without manipulation. Draw this heart closer to Jesus, reveal Yourself as Provider and Savior, and give faith to seek Your Kingdom first. We ask for healing, for hope, and for deliverance from the snare of gambling, that trust would be fully in You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking God daily in prayer and in His Word, to ask Him for wisdom, James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him, and to reach out to a local Bible believing church where you can share your needs openly so believers can pray and practically support you. Trust that God cares for you and will provide in His way and His timing as you walk faithfully with Him through Jesus.

Your need has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the heaviness of your present trial, the want of money, the hindrance of health, the closed doors of employment and of credit, and the temptation to look to chance for deliverance.

It is true, as you say, that all money is God's money. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, and every good gift comes from His hand. Yet because it is His, we are but stewards of it, and He calls us to seek it and to use it in ways that honor Him. The Word of God, which has been preserved century after century with all its freshness and force, does not teach us to trust to the casting of lots for gain, but to trust to the living God who gives us all things richly to enjoy, and to labor with diligence and honesty as He enables us.

To buy lottery tickets and hope to win what you need may seem as though it were the only open door, but it is to build hope upon chance rather than upon providence. The Scriptures warn us that wealth gotten hastily will dwindle, while he that gathers by labor shall increase. To seek provision by hazard is poor stewardship of the little the Lord has already entrusted to you, and it often brings a deeper bondage of disappointment and want. The Lord would have His people be His witnesses in this world, and a witness is known not only by what he says but by the manner of his life, that men may see a quiet trust in the Father's pity rather than a feverish grasping after fortune.

We do not lightly pass over your affliction. Bodily infirmity that keeps you from work is a sore trial, and the fear of being manipulated or ensnared by borrowing from men is not without cause. Hear this for your comfort, that the Lord has a fatherly pity for His children. He knows your frame, He remembers that you are dust, and though He chastens His pupils, He never casts them out. He has taught His people from their youth, and until this time they have declared His wondrous works, not because their way was easy, but because His grace sustained them. Even when His promises seem to tarry, they never fail. Has God forgotten to be gracious? No, His mercy overtakes us even when we have wandered, and He hides His own in safety till the storm be past.

Believe then that your heavenly Father knows what you have need of before you ask Him. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses from all sin, and if you are in Christ you are not without God's approval and care. He who spared not His own Son will with Him also freely give you all things needful. That does not mean abundance as the world counts abundance, but it does mean daily bread, wisdom for each step, and contentment which is great gain.

We will pray for you, not that the Lord would prosper a ticket of chance, for we cannot ask God to bless what His Word does not commend, but that He would grant you His overtaking mercy and fatherly provision. We ask Him to open such doors of honest provision as your health will allow, to give you favor with those who can give wise counsel, to guide you to the care of a faithful local church where needs are borne together and where the deacons may discreetly help, and to keep you from the snare of trusting in uncertain riches.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Bring your burden to Christ in prayer, lay your wants plainly before Him, labor with your hands at what little you are able to do, be faithful in the small, and leave the outcome to Him who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows. He who made the heavens loves His people and has bought them with His blood, and He will not suffer them to lack any good thing in His perfect time.

May the Lord teach you to trust His hand more than any hope of sudden gain, and may He give you peace in the knowledge that you are His, and that He will provide for His own.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
