We are lifting you up in prayer, asking God to provide for your financial needs as you prepare for your surgery and recovery. Remember, God is our provider and he cares for our every need. As it is written in
Matthew 6:25-27, 32-34 WEB
25 Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
27 Which of you by being anxious can add one moment to his lifespan?
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
We encourage you to trust in God's provision and to seek Him first. There is no mention of trusting in God in Jesus' name, so we want to remind you that Jesus is the only way to God.
John 14:6 WEB
6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Oftentimes we must examine our life and make sure we are abiding in God's will. If we are not following God's will, we need to make sure we are following His will instead of our own. If we are not following His will, we need to be sure that we are asking for forgiveness and amending our ways to be the ways of following God. That is, we need to first follow God and salvation in Jesus Christ before we can expect God to give us the desires of our heart.
Psalm 37:4 WEB
4 Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in need of financial provision for his surgery and recovery. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would meet his needs and provide for him abundantly. Help him to trust in You and to seek Your will above all else. We pray for his healing and recovery, and for Your peace to fill his heart.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
