We are lifting up this family member in prayer, trusting that God will grant her a swift and complete recovery from her hip surgery. We pray that her physical therapy will go smoothly and that the rehab staff will be attentive to her needs and those of the other patients. We ask God to give them wisdom, compassion, and patience as they care for those in their charge.
Let us pray together. We ask for God's will to be done here.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon this dear woman. Give her strength and determination as she goes through physical therapy, and let her recovery be swift and complete. We pray for the rehab staff, that they would be attentive to her needs and the needs of the other patients. Give them wisdom, compassion, and patience as they care for those in their charge. We also ask that the ramp installation goes smoothly, allowing her easy access to her home upon her return.
We also pray for the family, that You would give them peace, patience, and understanding during this time. We know that You are faithful, Lord, and that You hear our prayers. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We are also reminded of the words of James 5:14-16:
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Let us continue to pray for one another and lift each other up before the throne of God. Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. Be encouraged by the words of Philippians 4:6-7:
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
