well just got back from bank looks like i cant just take my name off account have to close it and make another one in her name only but there is condition have to have power of attorney which i do have but it not drawn up by lawyer so prayers in Jesus name amen now that they will accept this one i have that is not drawn up by attorneys they sent it to bank to look over and will get back to me in few days so prayers with me in Jesus name amen that they accept this so we can do this and also they say they can do moms account threw email so she not have to go in so now i am going to go in and set all i can up to pay on 3rd so that be taken care of with new one have to let all know with her checks direct deposit so even tho i have to go threw all this praying it will work so i can get my help needed on my end what a mess things can be when one not realize all this so now it time to wait for the answer so thanks for praying with me in Jesus name amen

We join you in prayer in Jesus' name and thank you for sharing this burden with us. We understand how overwhelming these banking details can feel, especially when you are trying to honor and care for your mom and also get the help you need on your end. It is a good and godly thing you are doing in looking after her affairs with diligence and love.

The Lord sees your desire to honor your mother and to handle these matters faithfully. As it is written, Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you Exodus 20:12, and If anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever 1 Timothy 5:8. Your care for her reflects that love and responsibility, and we pray God gives you peace as you wait for the bank's answer.

We know waiting for a decision can bring anxiety, but we are reminded not to be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort that A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9, and that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this banking need to You. Lord, You know the details of this account, the power of attorney that has been submitted, and the desire to do what is right and orderly. We ask for Your favor with those at the bank who are reviewing the document. We pray that if it is Your will, they will accept the power of attorney that is already prepared, even though it was not drawn up by a lawyer, so that this account can be closed and a new one opened in her name alone without unnecessary delay or expense. We pray for wisdom and kindness from the bank staff, and for clarity in their communication over the next few days.

We also thank You that they have offered to handle your mom's account through email so she does not have to go in, and we pray that process goes smoothly. Give our friend wisdom and diligence as he sets up payments for the 3rd and notifies all those needed regarding checks and direct deposits. Help all the transfers to be completed accurately and without confusion. Lord, we ask that You provide the help that is needed on his own behalf as well, and that You would make a way through what now feels like a mess. Let Your peace rest upon him while he waits, and remind him that You are his strength. As You have promised, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We trust in Your perfect timing and Your provision, and we thank You for hearing our prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.

We hear how tiring this has been for you, going back and forth to the bank and finding out it is more complicated than just taking your name off. You have done a lot of careful work already to look after your mom and to get the paperwork in order, and now having to wait a few days for an answer is hard.

It makes sense this feels like a mess. These banking rules around power of attorney and direct deposits are confusing, and you could not have known all of it ahead of time. We are glad they are reviewing the document you do have and that they offered to handle your mom's part by email so she does not have to go in.

While you wait, one small thing that may help keep the stress down is to keep everything in one place until you hear back. Maybe keep a copy of the power of attorney you submitted, the name of the person at the bank who is reviewing it, and the date they said they would respond. Your care for your mother in this practical and pressing matter has been laid before the Lord, and we join with you in prayer in the name of Jesus.

What a trying entanglement such business can be, when papers and permissions and bank requirements stand in the way of a simple act of love. You have done well to seek to order these things rightly, and now there must be a season of waiting for an answer from the bank. In such a time the heart is tempted to anxiety, yet we are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. To rest in the Lord and to wait patiently for Him is not idleness, it is strength. Waiting upon God is the way to renew our strength, and it breeds peace within the soul, so that when a man is at rest within, he cares little for trials without.

You are waiting now for a few days to know whether the power of attorney you hold will be accepted, and whether your mother's account may be settled by email without her having to go in, and whether the bills and direct deposits may be set in order for the third. This waiting exercises patience, and patience is one of the choice gifts of God. You have heard of the patience of Job, the patience of a greatly tried man who learned that trial itself is the ground where patience grows. It is not the patience of one who cannot feel, but the patience of a child who believes in his father's love. So wait upon your Lord as a servant waits to know his master's will, and as a traveler waits for his guide. He waits that He may be gracious unto you, and His long forbearance is your comfort.

Let us pray together.

Our gracious Father, we thank Thee that Thou seest this need and this labour of love for a mother. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son that Thou wouldst incline the hearts of those who examine these papers to accept what has been provided, that the account may be closed and established in her name alone according to what is right and lawful, and that provision may be made for her care without unnecessary burden upon her. Grant wisdom to set in order the payments and the direct deposits, and grant peace in this time of waiting. Keep this dear one from fretting haste, and help the heart to wait only upon God, whose mercy never faileth. Let Thy will be done, and let all be ordered for good and for honest stewardship. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.

Be of good courage, and wait on the Lord. He who has helped thee hitherto will not fail thee now.
