We join you in lifting up your mom before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.
We do not know all the specific issues she is facing, but our Heavenly Father knows them fully, and He knows the many others who are walking through the same struggles. We bring them all before Him together.
We are encouraged by the promise in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, and in Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We also cling to Isaiah 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, and to Psalm 34:17-18 which reminds us that the righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we lift up this precious mom to You right now and every other person who is dealing with these same burdens. You see each need, each worry, each pain that may be hidden from others. We ask for Your healing touch where there is sickness, Your comfort where there is sorrow, Your strength where there is weariness, and Your wisdom where there are difficult decisions to be made. Pour out Your peace that passes understanding upon her heart and upon all who are suffering in this same way. Draw each one closer to You through this trial and let them feel Your nearness and Your unfailing love. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory and help them to cast every care upon You, trusting that You care deeply for them. We pray that You would be glorified through their lives and that their testimonies would bring hope to others. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
