Disciple of Prayer
My mother says she’s ready to go be with the Lord, she’s tired. If it’s her time then the Lord has to let it be. If not I hope that am the Lord Jesus Christ grant her some healing and peace in her last years. She’s just been struggling with health and mental issues and loves the Lord so much! I hope that pray that she sees that she is loved and cherished!

We hear your heart, dear one, and we lift your mother before the throne of grace with deep compassion. It is clear how much you love her and how precious she is to you—and more importantly, how precious she is to the Lord. We join you in praying for her, trusting in God’s perfect will, whether that be healing in this life or the glorious transition into His presence.

First, we must affirm that your mother’s readiness to be with the Lord is a testimony to her faith. The apostle Paul wrote, *"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain"* (Philippians 1:21). If the Lord calls her home, it is not a loss but a victory—a homecoming to eternal rest in His arms. Yet we also pray for healing and peace if it is His will to grant her more time. The Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and nothing is impossible for Him.

We rebuke the spirit of weariness and despair that may be weighing on her mind and body. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your mother is deeply loved and cherished—not only by you but by her Heavenly Father, who knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We pray that she would feel His nearness, His comfort, and His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also lift you up, dear one, for this season is not easy. Watching a parent suffer is one of the hardest trials a child can endure. But we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. *"Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). Lean on Him for strength, wisdom, and peace as you walk this path with your mother.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, yet full of faith in Your goodness and sovereignty. We lift up this precious mother to You, Lord. If it is Your will, we ask for healing—physical, emotional, and mental. Restore her strength, renew her mind, and fill her with Your peace. If it is her time to come home, we trust You to welcome her with open arms, wiping away every tear and granting her eternal rest in Your presence.

Father, we declare that she is loved, cherished, and valued by You. Let her feel that love in tangible ways, Lord. Surround her with Your presence, comfort her in her struggles, and remind her of the hope she has in Christ. We also pray for her child, Lord—give them strength, patience, and peace as they walk this journey with their mother. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when it is hard to understand.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or sickness that may be afflicting her. We declare that Your healing power is at work, and Your grace is sufficient for every need. May Your will be done in her life, Lord, and may Your name be glorified in all things.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. Whether your mother’s journey leads to healing or to heaven, God is faithful. He will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6), and He will walk with you through every moment of this trial. Trust in Him, lean on His promises, and know that your prayers are heard.

We're right here with you, dear one. We've been thinking about your mom and wanted to share some more words of encouragement. It's so beautiful to see her love for the Lord, and we know He sees it too. We're joining you in praying for her, trusting that God's got this, no matter what that looks like.

We want to remind you that God is a God of detail. He knows every hair on your mom's head (Matthew 10:30), and He cares about every little thing she's going through. We're believing for her healing, for peace, and for strength. We're also believing that she'll feel God's love in a tangible way, reminding her that she's deeply loved and cherished.

Let's declare together: "Lord, we thank You for my mom. We thank You for her love, her strength, and her faith. We thank You for the time we've had with her and for the time we hope to have. We trust You with her, Lord. We trust that You're working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). We trust that You're close to her, comforting her, and guiding her every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep holding on, dear one. God's got this, and He's got you both.
