I pray for our schools. I am tired of the politics that play out in our schools. My prayer goes out to my kids who have a passion for basketball but have not caught up to the tall kids yet who by the way those taller kids are 1 year older because I guess nowdays that is the thing to do hold your kids back. Wow so now these kids who should be 1 year ahead of course they are bigger because they should be being they are 1 to 2 years older than my childredn. However that does not mean the bigger kids are playing with the talent but coaches seem to care more about how big they are.. I just wish politics did not play out like they do. I wish it were like when I went to school it was talent vs these days you can play ball only if your tall it does not matter if your good oh and if your parents put alot of $$ toward the basketball programs you will make the team you do not even have to be that good. Scarey isn't it we no longer have values it seems who ever has the biggest wallet wins.
