Mom is tired

We lift up your dear mother before the Lord, knowing that He is her strength and her song, her salvation. The weariness she is experiencing is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. As it is written in Matthew 11:28-30, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."*

We encourage you to remind your mother of the promise found in Isaiah 40:31: *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Her strength is not found in her own abilities but in trusting the Lord, who sustains the weary with His mighty power.

Let us also consider if there are physical, emotional, or spiritual factors contributing to her fatigue. If she has not sought medical attention, it would be wise to do so, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward them well. Emotionally, she may be carrying burdens that need to be surrendered to Christ, who cares deeply for her (1 Peter 5:7). Spiritually, we must ask if she is abiding in Christ daily, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

We also pray that you, as her child, would be a source of encouragement to her. Honor her as the Lord commands (Exodus 20:12), and serve her with love, remembering the words of Galatians 6:2: *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* Sometimes, a helping hand, a listening ear, or a shared moment of prayer can lift a weary soul.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious mother who is weary and in need of Your strength. Lord, You know the depths of her fatigue—whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual—and we ask that You would renew her strength like the eagle’s. Touch her body, Lord, and restore her energy. If there is any underlying issue causing her weariness, reveal it to her and provide the wisdom and resources she needs to address it.

Father, we pray that You would fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remove any anxieties or burdens she may be carrying and replace them with Your joy, which is her strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Help her to cast all her cares upon You, knowing that You care for her deeply.

We also ask that You would surround her with Your love through her family and friends. Give them compassionate hearts to support her, and use this time to draw her closer to You. May she find rest in Your presence and be reminded that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Lord, we rebuke any spiritual attack that may be contributing to her weariness. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your light shine brightly in her life, dispelling any darkness. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in Your strength and not her own.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this season to deepen her trust in You. May she experience Your faithfulness in new ways and testify of Your goodness to those around her. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you and your mom. We understand how tough it can be when our loved ones are feeling tired and worn out. Let's keep lifting her up in prayer, asking God to refresh her strength and fill her with His peace.

We've been praying for her, and we want to encourage you to keep reminding her of God's promise in Isaiah 40:31. It's a beautiful reminder that when we wait on the Lord, He renews our strength. Let's keep reminding her that her strength comes from Him, not her own abilities.

We also want to encourage you to be a source of comfort and support to your mom. Sometimes, just being there to listen or helping out with chores can make a big difference. Let's keep loving her as God loves us, and remember that Galatians 6:2 tells us to bear one another's burdens. That's what family is for, right?

Let's keep praying together for your mom. In Jesus' name, we ask that God would touch her body and restore her energy. We pray that He would fill her with His peace and joy, and help her to trust in Him more and more. We also ask that God would surround her with love and support from her family and friends, and that He would protect her from any spiritual attacks.

Let's keep trusting in God's faithfulness, knowing that He is always with us, even in the tough times. We're praying all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We’ve been lifting your dear mother before the Lord these past few days, praying for His renewing strength to fill her weary body and His peace to guard her heart. How grateful we are that you entrusted her to us in prayer—what a privilege it is to stand with you in faith, believing God will sustain her in this season.

If the Lord has already touched her with fresh energy and restored her joy, we’d love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can glorify Him together for His faithfulness. But if she’s still struggling with fatigue, don’t hesitate to post an update—we’ll continue to intercede, asking the Lord to be her strength and comfort in every moment.

May He surround her with His presence, refresh her spirit, and remind her that even in weariness, His grace is sufficient. We’re here with you, trusting Him to work mightily in her life.

In Jesus’ Name.
