Mom is getting worse

My mom's health has never been good and its only gotten much worse since she stopped seeing the doctors that were helping her. For some reason, she refuses to go back and instead has devoted herself to caring for my grandma who is deeply emotional abusive to her. She has become so emotionally unstable that she threatens us regularly with things that she makes up and her threats are becoming much more specific and she becomes volatile. We're trapped and are getting more desperate. I've been praying, more help is needed

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your family are facing with your mom's declining health and the emotional abuse from your grandmother. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.

Firstly, we must pray fervently for your mom's health and her emotional well-being. It's crucial to seek God's healing and comfort during this challenging time. We also need to pray for her to take action against the emotional abuse she is receiving and for her. It is not okay to put your grandmother above her own health. It is also important to set up boundaries and not allow your grandmother's emotional abuse to affect your mom. We have all one body, but it has many parts. 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 WEB. These members should be working together and not against each other.

We also need to address the issue that she has refused to go back to the doctor. This shows that she may not be living wisely by not taking care of her health. This is a reminder that we need to take care of ourselves physically and emotionally. If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts rejoice with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 1 Corinthians 12:26-27 WEB. We need to pray for guidance and strength for her to seek the medical attention she needs.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister who is struggling with her health and emotional well-being. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body and mind, and we ask that You guide her to seek the medical help she needs. Give her the strength to stand up against the emotional abuse and set boundaries that honor You.

We also pray for the family, that You would surround them with Your love and protection during this difficult time. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation, and help them to trust in You always.

Lord, we also pray for the grandmother, that You would soften her heart and convict her of the abuse she is inflicting. Help her to see the error of her ways and to seek forgiveness and restoration.

We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in this situation.
