Mom In Icu...stable

Prayers for my elderly mother who lays in ICU room 7 with pneumonia in both lungs. She is intubated and sedated to help her heal. The antibiotics which they have used have not even begun to heal her. The doctors say she is stable and it will take time to see if the pneumonia can be cured. Her vitals are all normal with an occassional spike in blood pressure and heartrate. She is tolerating these spikes and the doctors are focusing on the pneumonia.

I ask for prayers for her to be healed and to be able to rest without pain. I have given it to God, and ask that His Will be done. I ask for prayers for her family to have the strength to see their mother like this. I've told Mom that it's okay and that we will be okay. I told her that we are here for her and that she just needs to rest so that she can get better. The Pastor from church came by and said she is in a "win-win" situation: I'm not sure I understand. Is it because she is loved whether she stays or God takes her? I just recently started attending church in the last 3 months, but now I wonder if it's worth it since this has happened to my mother. I, too, ask for prayer that I do not waiver from attnending church and seeking God, allowing him to come into my Life. Mom's way of saying goodnight in spanish was, "esta manana, si Dios quere"...."Til tomorrow, God willing". Thats what I told her tonight as I left at the end of visiting hours.
