Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. We are praying with you for your mother and for your whole family in this difficult time.
We bring your mother before the Lord and ask for His mercy and healing hand upon her. We pray that God would ease her pain, grant her comfort and strength, and bring restoration to her shoulder according to His wisdom and grace. We ask that the Lord would guide the doctors and all who are caring for her, giving them skill and clear judgment, and that He would give you and your family wisdom to make decisions that are truly best for her health and well being.
We also pray for peace in your family. We ask God to guard your heart from fear and anxiety, to help you and your sister to speak with love and patience toward one another, and to keep your mother at the center of your care with honor and gentleness. Where there is disagreement, may the Lord bring unity, clear communication, and trust in Him.
We do not know what path of treatment will be most helpful, whether healing without surgery or healing through surgery, but we trust that God is able to work through both prayer and the skill He has given to physicians. Our prayer is that the Lord would make the right course clear, protect your mother from any unnecessary harm, and lead her toward full recovery.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her fall, her injury, and her pain. Please touch her body and bring healing. Give wisdom to her family and to her medical team, and let every decision be made with care and love. Grant peace to this household, calm every anxious thought, and help them to trust You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our healer and our hope. Amen.
