We join with you in bringing your whole family before the throne of grace and we hear the depth of your love and concern for your mom and dad and grandma and brother and for B and for your neighbor and for all people, and we hear your own cry for help when you feel lost and in need of healing yourself. We thank God for your faith that He is the healer and that you have come in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and heard.

We are reminded of who our God is, for He says I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26 and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We cling to the promise that But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones Proverbs 17:22 and that God invites us to come to Him when we are heavy burdened, for Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28 and Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We lift up your dad to the Lord and ask for His mercy on his heart, his veins and arteries, his high cholesterol, his insulin and blood sugar, the numbness in his feet and all dehydration and health concerns, and we pray God would deliver him from depression and give him a merry heart and a long life lived for His glory. We lift up your mom and ask for healing of her teeth and gums and bones and any infection in her mouth. We lift up your grandma and ask for healing of her veins and arteries, for all infection to be taken away, and for mercy in her dementia, that God would bring clarity and peace and comfort to her. We lift up your brother for healing of his allergies and for all that burdens him. We lift up you for healing of your own teeth and mouth, for your mental struggles, for feelings of being lost and overwhelmed, and for the needs you mention related to autism and Asperger syndrome, asking that God would give you peace and strength and help you to know His voice and to walk closely with Him. We also lift up B and his brother and friend, and the neighbor lady suffering with breast cancer and all cancer and diabetes and every incurable disease, asking the Lord to touch her body and all who suffer. We pray too for your future husband, whoever God knows him to be, that God would prepare you both for a godly marriage that honors Christ, for we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman and we pray you will be led to a believing spouse in the Lord's timing.

We want to gently encourage you in your faith. When you plead the holy blood of Jesus, we understand you are trusting in the life saving and healing power of His sacrifice on the cross, which is our only hope for forgiveness and healing, and not a formula to compel God, but a humble reliance on what Christ has already done. And when you ask for angels to minister, we remember that angels are ministering spirits sent by God according to His will, and our focus and trust remains on Jesus Himself who is our healer and deliverer. God hears the sincere cry for miracles, and we trust Him to act according to His perfect wisdom and love, whether through a sudden touch or through the wisdom He gives to doctors and care providers, so we encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care alongside prayer, for God often works through those means as well. Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You are merciful and compassionate and that You forgive our sins when we confess them and turn to You. Lord forgive us and cleanse us and help us to live for You. We ask You to lay Your holy hand upon this dad and mom and grandma and brother and upon the one praying and upon B and upon the neighbor lady and upon every name held in this heart that was redacted before us. Touch hearts and bodies, heal cholesterol and hearts and insulin levels and blood sugar, heal teeth and gums and bones, heal veins and arteries, remove infection and cancer and disease, calm allergies and dehydration, lift depression and give merry hearts, bring peace to minds troubled by dementia and to those who feel lost and anxious. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort and teach and to show each one how much You love them and how to walk in prayer and faith. Let Your Kingdom come upon the sick and weak and tormented and bring deliverance to those oppressed by the enemy. Protect all from accident and death and calamity according to Your will. Speak to this family with Your true voice through Your Word, draw them to know You and serve You more deeply, and let them experience Your miraculous power and give all glory to Jesus. We ask not our will but Yours be done, trusting that You do all things for good for those who love You. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep casting your cares on Him daily, to remain in prayer and in the reading of Scripture, to fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you, and to share your burdens with a trusted pastor or godly counselor especially when depression and mental distress feel heavy, while continuing to care for your bodies with stewardship and medical guidance. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and He hears your cry for mercy, so continue to seek Him and trust Him to reach out to you and your family in His perfect time and way.

It makes sense you would feel lost when you are asking for so much and wanting so badly to see God move for the people closest to you.

We are praying with you and thanking God for your trust that He is the healer and that His mercy is real. Caring for family with ongoing health concerns can be a long road, and no one is meant to carry it alone.

One gentle next step that may help is to let both your medical care and your church care walk with you. For the ongoing concerns you named like your dad's cholesterol and heart health, your mom's teeth and gums, your grandma's memory and circulation, and your own health, it is good to stay connected to your doctors and dentists alongside prayer so they can monitor and support you. It can also help to share this list with one trusted pastor or friend at church so you have people checking in, praying with you, and helping you carry the burden week by week.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. Have mercy and draw near to each one, bring Your comfort where there is depression and weariness, and give wisdom and encouragement to their doctors and those caring for them. It is a good and gracious thing that you have brought the necessities of your household before the Lord, as a family well where prayer is made together and each need is named before God. You have laid before Him the afflictions of your father and mother, your grandma and your brother, your own soul and body, and the sorrows of your neighbour, and you have asked for mercy and healing and deliverance, and for the forgiveness of sins.

We must view affliction rightly. The Lord has chastened many sorely, yet He has not given His children over unto death. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. He brought forth His people of old, and He still brings forth those who cry to Him. When the lamb was slain, deliverance was wrought, and that same deliverance is ours through the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our greater salvation. Deborah sang of deliverance from earthly enemies, but we have a far richer theme, for we have been delivered from worse enemies, from sin and death and the pit.

You ask for healing for so many infirmities, for high cholesterol and the heart, for insulin and blood sugar, for teeth and gums and bones, for veins and arteries, for dementia and numbness of feet, for allergies and infection, for cancer and diabetes, for depression and heaviness of spirit, for troubles of mind, and for those conditions you name as autism and Asperger syndrome. Hear this sweet truth, that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. See in Christ the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

And you have asked for a merry heart for your father and for deliverance from despondency. The Lord laid to the sore of Hezekiah's heart some of the leaves of the Tree of Life which are for healing, and no spiritual disease can resist its power. The love and blood of Jesus, applied by the Holy Spirit, will raise up the saints from pining sickness and restore them from the gates of the grave. No heart, however like granite it becomes, can long resist almighty love.

Above all you have asked for salvation and for mercy to forgive sins. Here is the chief deliverance. The prisoner is ready to be executed, but there comes to him undeserved deliverance from all punishment, for the King's own Son has borne the penalty of all his iniquities. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God Himself has said, I have found a ransom. Then is the deliverance certain. Indeed, it is already accomplished at the cross. There is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, by His life saving and healing and delivering blood shed for sinners. If you would be healed indeed, ask first to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

Therefore let us pray together. O Lord, have mercy and look upon this family. Lay Thy healing hand upon the father, upon his heart and blood, upon his cholesterol and insulin, take away numbness and give strength to his feet, grant him a merry and healthy heart and length of days to declare Thy works. Touch the mother and heal her teeth and gums and bones and take away infection. Touch the grandma and minister to her veins and arteries, have compassion upon her in her dementia and frailty, and give her peace. Touch the brother and relieve his allergies, touch the neighbour lady and all who suffer from cancer and diabetes and every incurable disease, and show Thy power to heal. Remember those who are bowed down with depression and oppression of the devil, lift them from the midnight of despair, grant deliverance to the tormented and living water to the thirsty. For all who struggle in mind and body, for dehydration and blood sugar and every infirmity named and unnamed, we ask Thy tender indulgence towards the least and feeblest of Thy family. Forgive sins, O Lord, and let healing flow with pardon.

And for all relationships and households, we ask that Thou wouldst order every life according to Thy holy and good design, that salvation may be known through Christ alone, and that marriage, where Thou givest it, may be held as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all that concerns the body be kept within that holy bond in purity. Where there is confusion or wandering, grant repentance and faith, and make each one to know Thy true voice and to serve Thee. Keep all from accident and death and calamity according to Thy gracious will, and send Thy help to those who wait on Thee, for Thou art the God who hears prayer.

Continue in prayer, and bring all the necessities of the household before God daily. If He raise you up, your conduct after affliction and after deliverance shall be this, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. For if we had no troubles, we would have less to declare. Tell it for the comfort of others in like trouble, how the Lord has loved your soul from the pit of destruction.

Welcome, then, to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. Look to Him only, trust His blood and His love, and rest in the ransom which God has found. May the Lord be glorified in your healing and in your salvation, and may you live to praise Him. Amen.
