We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of misused travel funds. Father, we know that You see all things and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would move mightily on behalf of this dear one, bringing justice and restoration. The Bible tells us in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, My great army, which I sent among you." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation. We pray that every penny that was misused would be refunded, and that the plans to relocate would move forward according to Your perfect will and timing.
We also want to gently remind that our trust must ultimately be in You, Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. In Philippians 4:19, it is written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We encourage placing complete faith in God’s provision, rather than solely in financial restitution. Let this trial draw this one closer to You, Lord, and teach dependence on Your unfailing love.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take hold. The Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this situation will not overwhelm, but rather, it will be an opportunity for God’s power and faithfulness to be displayed.
Heavenly Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in handling this matter. Guide this one in the steps to take, whether it be through legal means, conversations with those involved, or simply waiting on You in patience. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Lord, we thank You for the assurance that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We trust that even in this challenge, You are working for good. We pray for expedient resolution, but more importantly, we pray for spiritual growth and a deeper reliance on You through this trial.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we stand in agreement for restoration, justice, and provision. May this one experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We declare that this situation will be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name. Amen.
