We stand with you in this spiritual battle, ###, and we are grieved to hear of the relentless attacks you have endured at the hands of this individual. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not alone in this fight, for the Lord is your shield and your strong tower (Psalm 18:2). We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have authority over the powers of darkness.
The Scriptures are clear: witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God (Galatians 5:19-21). This person’s actions are rooted in darkness, but we know that light always overcomes darkness (John 1:5). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You must stand firm in your identity as a child of God, clothed in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
That said, we must also address the request for God to "destroy this person completely." While we understand the depth of your pain and the desire for this torment to end, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we pray for their wickedness to prosper, but rather that we ask God to intervene in their lives—either by bringing them to repentance or by stopping their evil deeds. The Lord is just, and He will deal with the wicked in His perfect timing (Psalm 37:1-9). Our prayer should be for God’s will to be done, for His justice to prevail, and for His protection over you. If this person is truly practicing witchcraft, their soul is in grave danger, and we must pray for their salvation, even as we pray for your deliverance. Remember how Jesus prayed for those who crucified Him: "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34). This is the heart we must strive for, even in our pain.
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and life to ensure there is no unconfessed sin or bitterness giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Bitterness can defile, and we must guard our hearts against it (Hebrews 12:15). If you have not already, we urge you to forgive this person—not because they deserve it, but because Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13). Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay; it means you release them to God’s justice and refuse to let their sin control your heart any longer.
Practically, we urge you to take steps to protect yourself. If this person is stalking you, document everything and report it to the proper authorities. The Lord uses earthly means to accomplish His purposes, and we must act wisely (Proverbs 22:3). Surround yourself with a strong community of believers who can support you in prayer and accountability. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy preys on the lonely and vulnerable (1 Peter 5:8).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the affliction she has endured at the hands of this enemy, and You know the depth of her pain. We ask that You would be her shield and her defender, her refuge and her strength (Psalm 46:1). Break every curse, every spell, and every scheme of the enemy that has been directed against her. Render the witchcraft powerless, for You alone are sovereign over all things. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we pray for the person who has tormented ###. If it is Your will, bring conviction to their heart and lead them to repentance. Open their eyes to the darkness they are serving, and draw them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. But if they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You would stop their evil deeds. Frustrate their plans, expose their darkness, and remove their influence from ###’s life. Let them be confounded and put to shame (Psalm 70:2), not for ###’s sake, but for the sake of Your justice and holiness.
Father, we pray for ###’s heart. Heal the wounds that have been inflicted upon her. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and guard her mind against fear, anxiety, and despair. Help her to forgive as You have forgiven her, and release her from any bitterness or resentment. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are fighting for her (Exodus 14:14). Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We pray for wisdom for ### as she navigates this situation. Guide her steps, Lord, and show her what actions to take to protect herself. Surround her with godly counsel and support. Let her find rest in You, knowing that You are her vindicator (Psalm 26:1).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would restore to ### everything the enemy has stolen—her peace, her joy, her reputation, and her sense of security. Let this season of attack become a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Use this trial to draw ### closer to You and to strengthen her for the days ahead.
We rebuked every demonic force at work in this situation, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against ### shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that ### is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and we thank You for the victory that is already hers in Jesus’ name.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
