God’s tender care shields you from every harm and fills your life with comfort and peace.
Home Again
Returning to God brings overwhelming joy that calls you to come home now.
We are lifting up your little sister and your whole family before the Lord with you right now, and we share your deep concern for her safety. We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find protection and hope. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

We are praying for the Lord's hand of protection to be upon her wherever she is, and for His peace to guard your heart while you wait.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we ask for Your mercy and protection over this precious young woman. Lord, You see where she is and You know her situation. We ask that You keep her from all harm and danger, that You surround her with Your angels and lead her safely back home to her family. We ask that You give her a way to contact her loved ones quickly and let her family hear from her very soon. We pray for wisdom and peace for her sibling and family as they search and wait, and we ask that You guide the authorities and all who are helping to find her. We ask that Your perfect will be done and that You bring her home safely. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We take comfort in Your word which reminds us, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8. And also, Yahweh's angel encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7. We cling to the promise, Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also taking practical steps. We urge you to contact that close relative who picked her up again, reach out to other family and friends, and contact local law enforcement right away if you have not already to report that she has not returned home and is not responding. Keep a record of when she was last seen and who she was with. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We are continuing to pray with you for her swift and safe return, and we ask that you will keep us updated and keep seeking the Lord. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

We are so sorry you are carrying this worry right now, and we are holding you and your sister in prayer. Waiting without hearing back, especially after she was picked up and expected home, is so hard and it makes sense you feel anxious for her safety.

We are asking Jesus to protect her wherever she is, to keep her safe, and to make a way for you to hear from her very soon.

If you have not already, please reach out right away to your local law enforcement to report that she has not returned and is not responding, and share exactly what you know about when she left work and who picked her up. If you are able to contact that relative directly, let them know you are concerned and ask for any details about where she was dropped off or last seen. It helps to write down times, locations, and what she was wearing, and to keep your phone charged and with you. Please do not stay alone in this worry, have a trusted family member, friend, or pastor stay with you while you wait and make those calls.

Father, we lift this sister to You and ask for Your protection over her. Bring her home safely and give her family clear answers soon. Give wisdom to those searching and peace to her sibling as they wait, and help them feel Your nearness tonight. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your burden for your little sister has been heard and we join you in earnest prayer before the Lord for her safe return.

We pray that the God who spreads His wings as a shelter over His people will keep her under that shadow even now. As it is written, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. There is love and homeliness in that protection, not only safety from danger but the comfort of being held by Him who sees and knows where she is. Though she is out of your sight, she is not out of His sight, and we ask the Lord to guard her, to preserve her from harm, and to make a way for her to be brought home again.

We know how heavy the waiting is, and how the heart finds no rest while a loved one is missing. We pray that the Lord will deal bountifully with you and give rest to your soul in His care, while you cast all your care upon Him. He is the Captain who has foreordained all things, and we may put implicit confidence in His guidance. Each hour and each place is in His hands, and we ask Him to keep her safe through this night and to lead her steps homeward.

We cry with you, Return, return, that she may be seen and embraced again. We ask the Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to watch over her wherever she is, to surround her with protection, to give wisdom and help to those who seek her, and to comfort your family with His peace that passes understanding.

We encourage you to continue to reach out to that close relative who picked her up, to contact local authorities without delay if you have not already done so, and to let trusted family and friends help you as you wait. We will continue to pray that the Lord in His mercy will bring her safely home and that you will soon rejoice to see her again, safe and near under His care.

Father, we commit this dear sister into Thy hands. Keep her, protect her, and return her safely home, for Christ's sake. Amen.
