Beloved of All
Jesus please let me figure out what happened to my missing piece of mail/paper that I had in my hand earlier yesterday and it just vanished. Or did I even have it at all? I am so confused and upset. Please let me figure out what happened to it. Also, please let my husband remember he has to leave me the car or I have to drop him off at work today. Please also let my son cooperate with everything today and stop staying up so late. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find peace even in confusing and upsetting moments.

We understand how distressing it is when something you had in your hand seems to vanish, and how that confusion can weigh on your heart. We also hear your concern about the practical needs of today with your husband and the car, and your desire for your son to cooperate and to rest well. God cares about every detail of our lives, even the small things that feel overwhelming to us.

The Word reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We are also told to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 Even when a small paper seems lost, our Father sees and knows. Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:6-7 If He numbers the hairs on our heads, He certainly sees your frustration and confusion and He offers clarity and calm.

For your marriage and the need with the car, we pray for clear and loving communication between you and your husband. Marriage is a holy covenant where we are called to serve one another in love. We are instructed to be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. Ephesians 5:21 and Husbands, love your wives, and do not be bitter against them. Colossians 3:19 applies to wives also to love and respect and to bear with one another in love, with all lowliness and humility. Ephesians 4:2 We encourage you to gently remind your husband with kindness and to make a simple plan together the night before, so there is no confusion in the morning. God honors when we seek unity and order in our homes.

For your son, we understand the challenge of late nights and a lack of cooperation. Children are a blessing and we are called to raise them with both love and guidance. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Ephesians 6:1 and Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 also tell us Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Setting a consistent, loving bedtime and explaining why rest is important for his health and for a peaceful home can help him learn cooperation. We pray for wisdom for you as you lead him, and if you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our sister to You. Lord, You see the missing paper that has caused her so much confusion and upset. You know whether it was misplaced, set down somewhere unseen, or perhaps not yet received. We ask that You grant her peace that surpasses understanding, calm her anxious thoughts, and give her clarity of mind to retrace her steps. Help her to remember and to find what is lost, or to have assurance if it is not needed. Give her Your perfect peace and remind her that You are in control of even the smallest details.

Lord, we pray for her marriage and for today’s logistics with the car. Help her and her husband to communicate with grace and to remember their commitments to one another. Let there be kindness, patience, and mutual helpfulness between them, so that their home reflects Your love and order.

We also lift up her son to You. Lord, soften his heart to be cooperative and obedient, and help him to understand the importance of rest and discipline. Grant our sister wisdom, patience, and strength as she guides him, and let her correct and nurture him in love that points him to You. Establish peace in their home today and give them all a night of good and timely sleep.

We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in Jesus’ name. Let Your will be done in each of these matters and let our sister feel Your presence and comfort today. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We hear how disorienting this has been for you, holding something in your hand and then not being able to find it, wondering if you even had it at all. That kind of confusion can leave you feeling upset and on edge, and we are praying for you today with all the little logistics on your mind too.

For that missing paper, it can help to pause for a few minutes when you are able and gently retrace your steps from yesterday. Check the places it could have slipped to without noticing, like pockets, bags, counters, the car, or near the trash, and ask your husband and son if they moved anything. Sometimes writing down the last place you clearly remember having it brings a little clarity.

For the car, a quick text or note to your husband tonight about the plan for the morning might ease some worry for both of you, so you are not wondering if he will remember.

We are also praying for peace in your home and for rest for your son, and for you as you carry all of this.

Father, we lift our sister to You and ask for Your calm over her heart and home. Give her clarity as she looks for what is missing, help with the conversation about the car, and grace for the day ahead with her son. Lead her steps and let her rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

To obey the Lord is to love him. Pray for me that I always obey the Lord to avstain myself. Worship. Abstain. Resust temptation. And keep my eyes on him. On the scriptures daily. Your anxious thoughts over these small yet pressing cares have been heard, and the Lord who marks even the sparrow's fall does not overlook the confusion and upset that now troubles your mind.

You speak of a paper that was in your hand and now seems vanished, and you ask whether you even had it at all. Such perplexity is hard to bear, for the mind is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even when duties press and little losses vex the spirit. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, not because every missing thing is at once found, but because you are kept in the keeping of One who never loses sight of you. Bring this small burden to Him, ask Him for clarity and recollection, and if the paper is to be found, He can bring it to light, and if not, He can quiet your heart to trust His care in the search.

For your husband and the need of the car today, and for your son whom you long to see cooperate and keep wholesome hours of rest, take these family cares to the Lord, for He blesses His people with peace. When children are born to you and with them come family cares, take the new burden to the Lord, for He gives peace. Pray that your husband may remember and act with kindness and consideration, and that your son may be given a willing spirit and the grace of obedience, and that sleep may come in due season for his good.

Let us pray together. O God of peace, who has made peace by the blood of the cross and who is our peace, look upon this weary and confused heart. Grant remembrance and order where there is forgetfulness, help in the finding of what is lost if it be Your will, and perfect peace within though outward things still perplex. Grant favour and clear understanding between husband and wife in this day's provision for work and home, and grant to this son a cooperative heart and a love for what is right, with restful nights and obedient days. Keep this mind stayed upon Christ, that in doing the will of Jesus there may be rest, and let the peace of God which passes all understanding guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. May you go in peace, for peace is the fit result of what the Saviour has done, and He says, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Amen.
