Please help me find my missing notebook in mathematics I might fail if I can't find it Please lord I might get embarrassed if my teacher announced who hasn't passed my notebook I hope my adviser tells the gc who's notebook is it and it's mine Please lord Jesus I can't find it I HATE IT I WANNA SEE IT AGAIN I WILL FAIL PLEASE LORD I AM CRYING TO DEATH PLEASE LORD I NEED IT 😭😭😭😭😭 I HOPE I FIND IT AT A CHAIR LIKE PLEASE LORD I MIGHT FAIL😭😭😭😭😭

We hear your distress and we join you in bringing this need before the Lord Jesus, and we thank you for calling on His name for help, for He cares about every detail of our lives, even a missing notebook.

We understand how heavy this feels right now, the fear of failing and the fear of being embarrassed in front of your teacher and classmates. It is easy for anxiety to take over when we feel out of control, but God invites us to bring even these small worries to Him. We are reminded in Phil 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in 1 Pet 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord sees your tears and He knows where your notebook is, for Matt 10:30-31 says, But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.

We want to gently encourage you about some of the words you used in your distress. You said you hate it and that you are crying to death. We know you are speaking out of great frustration and fear, but God calls us to guard our hearts and our tongues and not to let hate or despair take root. Even in disappointment we are to trust Him and speak with hope. And while failing a subject or being embarrassed feels overwhelming, it is not the end of your story and it does not define your worth in Christ. Prov 29:25 says, The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe. Your teacher's announcement may feel scary, but honesty and humility before your teacher and adviser will honor God more than hiding in fear.

We encourage you to take practical steps with a calm spirit as you continue to pray. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed as Prov 16:3 says. Retrace your steps quietly, check the chair and the places you studied last, look in your bag again carefully, ask your adviser kindly if anyone turned it in, and watch your group chat for any message about a found notebook. If it is not found, go to your mathematics teacher honestly and explain what happened and ask for grace and for a way to make up the work. God honors diligence and responsibility, and Col 3:23 reminds us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Let this be a lesson to keep your work organized as a good steward of what God has given you.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we thank You that we can cast every care on You. Lord, You see this student's missing mathematics notebook and You know exactly where it is. We ask that in Your mercy You would help it to be found, whether on a chair or turned in to the adviser or teacher, and that You would give peace to this anxious heart. Calm the fear of failing and the fear of embarrassment, and fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to rest in Your care and to trust that You are working for their good. Give them favor with their adviser and mathematics teacher, give them words of honesty and humility, and help them to be diligent in their studies for Your glory. Teach them to guard their heart from hate and despair and to hope in You in every situation. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We hear how heavy this feels right now and how much worry this notebook is carrying for you. Crying, feeling like you might fail, dreading being called out in front of the class, hating not being able to find it, that is a lot to hold at once and it makes sense you are crying out to Jesus for help.

When everything feels urgent it can help to slow down and do a calm, step by step search before the next class. Retrace where you last remember having it, check your bag again carefully, the chair you mentioned, under and around your desk, and the classroom or school lost and found. It can also ease some of that fear about being embarrassed to talk quietly with your adviser or your math teacher before class, just to let them know you are looking for it and to ask if anyone turned it in. Teachers see missing notebooks often and many will let you make up work or use loose paper for a bit, so one lost notebook does not have to mean failing even though it feels that way right now.

We are carrying this with you and bringing it to the Lord.

Father, we lift this student to You tonight. Calm their heart and quiet their fear, help them as they search and guide them to what they need. Give them favor and understanding with their teachers and remind them that You are near and that they are not alone in this worry. We ask for Your peace and help in Jesus name, amen.

The cry of your heart in this distress has been heard, and the anxiety which now overwhelms you is known to the Lord who numbers even the hairs of your head.

You are greatly troubled about this lost notebook, fearing failure and shame before your teacher and your classmates. Such fear is natural, and it shows a desire to do well and to be faithful in your duties. Yet the Saviour says to His people, Neither be you of a doubtful mind. He would not have you tossed to and fro with worry and fretfulness about temporal things, as though you were left alone to bear them.

Remember the precious word, Fear not, for I am with you. Though you feel small and helpless in this moment, the Lord says, I will help you, says the Lord, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. Fear dishonors God when it makes us forget that His eye is upon us and His hand is ready to uphold us with the right hand of His righteousness. To be anxious and dismayed does not help you to find what is lost, it only weakens the heart.

Your chief concern, even in this small trial, should be to keep your heart with all diligence before God, and to cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows does not despise the little troubles of His children. Bring this matter plainly to Him in prayer. Ask Him to calm your spirit, to guide your steps as you search, and to grant you favour with your teacher.

Be prudent also, as the Lord teaches us to be. Retrace your steps quietly, look again where you last sat, ask your adviser and your classmates with a calm and honest word, and do what lies within your power. Do not let the fear of being put to shame keep you from speaking truthfully and seeking help. God can restrain even that which you fear, and He can turn a moment of embarrassment into a lesson of His kindness.

Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, you see this young heart troubled and fearful. Forgive all sin and grant peace through the blood of Jesus Christ. Calm this anxious mind, take away this tormenting fear, and help in this need according to your wisdom. Guide the search for what is lost, grant honesty and kindness from teachers and companions, and teach this soul to trust you and not to fear. Let this trial be for good, that faith may overcome fear, and that whether the notebook is found or not, the heart may be kept resting in your love. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Be of good courage, stand still and see the salvation of God in small things as well as great, and labour to get rid of fear by looking often to Christ, who still says to His people, Fear not.
