Ministry of Tears
Trouble makes this world less appealing and heaven more desirable so we long for eternal joy.
The Lachrymatory
God treasures every tear of repentance, sickness, poverty, and loss, so trust your sorrows are seen and kept.
The Scarlet Rope
God offers a way out through His mercy, and it calls you to trust the scarlet line of Christ’s blood for salvation.
We hear the cry of your heart as a daughter before her Father and we join you in bringing this pain to Jesus who sees every tear you shed for this man. He knows your longing and your sorrow and He is near to you in this moment.

The Lord tells us He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 and that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We know that you miss him deeply and you are asking why he does not reach out or seek you. We understand that ache, and we want to gently encourage you to place this relationship fully in the hands of God and to trust His will above our own desires. We cannot pray that Jesus would force or manipulate another person to contact us, for God has given each person free will, but we can pray that His perfect will be done for both of you and that He will bring peace and clarity. We are told to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, in all our ways acknowledge Him and He will make our paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.

We also want to encourage you regarding relationships as God designed them. We believe courtship should be with the purpose of finding a godly spouse for a lifelong marriage between a man and a woman that honors God. If this man is to be in your life, we pray it would be as a believing husband who seeks you in a way that is intentional, pure and Christ centered. The scripture reminds us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14. We encourage you to seek first Gods Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, trusting that if this man is Gods best for you as a husband, God will work in his heart, and if not, God has a better plan to guard your heart and lead you to the right godly marriage.

We love that you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard and saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up Your daughter to Your throne of grace. You see her tears, You collect them, and You know the depth of her missing this man. We ask that You comfort her now, wrap her in Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind her that You have not forgotten her. We cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her 1 Peter 5:7. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this relationship. If this man is a believer and if it would honor You for him to seek her for godly courtship leading to marriage, we pray You would work in his heart and give him courage to act in a godly way. If this is not Your will, we pray You would gently close the door, heal her heart, remove the longing that is not from You, and help her to release him to You. Help her to delight herself in You and to trust that You will give her the desires of her heart as she follows You Psalm 37:4. Prepare her and prepare a future godly husband if it is Your plan, and keep her pure and hopeful as she waits on You. Give her strength to wait, to guard her heart, and to find her identity and joy in Christ alone. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, Amen.

We hear the longing in your message and the tears behind it. Waiting for someone who does not reach out can feel very lonely, and bringing that ache honestly to Jesus is a good place to turn.

You are not unseen in this. Even when another person feels distant, you are still held and known by God, and He keeps every tear you have cried over this.

Loneliness has a way of pulling us inward, and worship and fellowship have a way of gently pulling us back out. When you can, keep showing up among God's people, even quietly. Sitting with others who know you, singing and praying together, can remind you that you are part of a larger family and not alone with these questions.

It may also help to share this burden in person with one trusted, mature believer this week, a pastor or a faithful friend, who can listen and pray with you face to face and walk with you in the days ahead.

Father, we lift our sister to You. You know the name on her heart and the tears she has poured out. Comfort her tonight, steady her heart with Your nearness, and give her wisdom for each next step. Lead her in Your love and peace. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your tears are not hidden from the Lord, and the sigh that you have poured out before Him He has heard. There is a word for such an aching heart as yours, for God says, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people. He speaks to those with tearful eyes and desponding spirits, and He often sends that comfort not by a sudden wonder, but by His Word applied to the soul.

You feel alone because one whom you love does not seek after you, and does not draw near. Know then that our blessed Savior entered into that very loneliness. He was left alone just when as Man He most needed human sympathy, and He knows the sorrow of being forsaken and unanswered. There are sorrows which coarse hearts despise, but Christ has felt them, and therefore He can sympathize with you in this lonely hour. Your main comfort in such labour of heart is that you are not alone, for the Eternal God who guides the marches of the stars is with you.

This is your comfort in your affliction, for His Word quickens you. The letter alone will not sustain you, but the Spirit by the Word gives life. When He would comfort us He often does not give at once the thing we ask for, but He quickens us, and so we obtain comfort. Take then your priceless Bible and press it to your bosom and say, This is my comfort. There you will learn that the Lord Jesus asks each of us, Do you love Me, and He who knows all things knows whether you love Him, and His omniscience becomes your comfort, for He sees the love that is feeble and the tears that are sincere.

We cannot ask the Lord to compel the affections of another, nor to bless a desire apart from His holy will, for true comfort and constancy must go together. Comfort by itself is not enough, and constancy without comfort will not suffice, therefore the apostle prays that God would comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work. Sometimes rebuke and spiritual quickening are more to be valued than the immediate relief we crave, and God in His wisdom withholds what we think we must have that He may give us what is better.

There is a waiting God and there is a waiting people. God waits to be gracious, and His waiting will end in a glorious transaction of grace upon the heart that trusts Him. His people wait upon Him not in despair, but in hope, in joyous and assured expectation of blessedness in reserve. If you cannot draw comfort from present experience, gather it from the past, for you have been miserable before and have been delivered, and you may believe that you shall forget your misery and remember it as waters that pass away. Time cannot heal as God can, but God uses time and His providence to turn sorrow into peace for those who wait patiently upon Him.

We pray for you now that the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God even our Father would comfort your heart and establish you. May He lift the burden of this longing, teach you to find your fullness in Christ alone through whom alone is salvation, keep you in purity and in the hope of that lifelong covenant of one man and one woman which He ordains for marriage, and make you to be settled and steadfast in every good word and work. May He give you grace to wait upon Him, to trust His will above all earthly love, and to hear His voice saying, I am with you, be of good comfort. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your tears and your cry have been heard, and God does not turn away from a heart that pours itself out before Him. It is painful to love and to feel not sought, to wait for someone to come and to wonder why he does not search for you. That ache is real, and the Lord sees it.

The longing to be known and cherished is placed in us by God, but human love is imperfect and often fails. The Scriptures teach that true love enlarges the heart and makes us more like God Himself, who loves not because He is forced but because it is His nature to love. People may forget, grow cold, or turn away, but God never stops seeking His children. When we return to Him with an earnest heart, He does not reproach us for the past or for the time we were distant. He receives, He comforts, and He remembers our repentance, not our failures.

It would not be right to ask Jesus to act as a messenger to compel another person to come to you, or to force affection where it is not freely given. Love that is compelled is not love, and God does not work by manipulation. Instead, bring your longing entirely to Him. He is the One who seeks you first, who loves you as a daughter, and who knows what is best for your life far better than any human heart can.

Pray then not that God would make this man enter or search for you, but that God would heal your heart, give you peace, and guide you according to His will. If marriage is your desire, God honors marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He calls us to keep love and living together within that holy covenant. Ask Him to shape your desires to His goodness, to guard your heart and body in purity, and to lead you to what is truly for your good and His glory. Above all, seek your comfort and identity in Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

We pray for you now that the Lord will wipe your tears, quiet your anxious thoughts, and fill the empty place with His own presence. May He give you wisdom to discern His path, strength to trust Him when answers are slow, and the help of faithful people around you who can walk with you, pray with you, and encourage you in the Word. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and Scripture, and open your heart to His love which never fails.

You are not forgotten. The Lord who sees you in secret will be your comfort and your hope.
